Actually, doesn't look bad. I'll give it a look - downloading it right now - , and if it's any good, I'll put it on the DVD.
As for the tag, since it no longer links to the original thread (which has vanished, for some reason), I'll remove it.
EDIT:
Okay, I've played it.
If you ask me for my opinions, then you have to expect that people are going to tell you what's wrong, so you're going to have to accept what people find wrong with your game. If you're not going to be prepared to accept what's wrong with your game, then nobody can actually give you an opinion on it.
And just so you know, I have put it on the NAG DVD, it will probably be in the November issue.

It's rare to see an indie 3D game on the forums so well done on that score.
I think you need to spend some brief time explaining the controls. It took me a while to figure out how to interact with the world (how to use the mouse, how to pick up items, how to use items) and I still can't figure out how to unlock the car.
You also need some wording fixes on character creation because after "Enter name" it said "Enter Sex" and it took me a while to figure out to use the slider since typing wasn't working.
There are some other minor suggestions (like removing the blank loading screen, and not being able to move items to outside the room I'm in) but I'll give more when I've played more of the game.

the controls are in the help.txt file included with the game, and the cars are unlocked by having the right key*usually the color of the car door etc" in your hand, and then putting it on the car/bike/helicopter/stealth fighter/door/safe etc.
I would be very proud to have a game on the NAG DVD, I have been a fan since my teen years and did get into Blender specifically as a demo included in a 2000 issue of NAG

God mode for Developers: (inbuilt editor)
Get the cell phone, put it in your back pack, type in "IAMGOD" in caps and push the little green button
Keys:
"F1" save startup, "F2" load startup (these buttons are dangerous)
"1" Tile mode
"2" Object mode
"3" play mode
"0""4""5"6" - cars/bikes/helicoptes and aeroplanes (watch out for respot)
Mouse-delete/cycle/place etc
Arrow keys(not numpad) : For selecting and adjusting Objects propertys
A cool thing to try:
Go into object mode, push the up(or down) arrow key until it says "Character Number", then you will be able to go through every character on the game by pushing right button!!!!
also you cant die, wich can be helpful to finnish the game easily
Have fun with God mode! (other editing was done with notepad!!!)
PS : game can become unstable in God mode, but, if something goes wrong you can fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (E mail me if you want instructions)

Eyeball, I gave KiD a go and I have to be honest: I had no idea what to do. There was some sort of character dialogue going on and I was being told things, sure, but they didn't relate to what I was seeing on the screen. I did eventually get out of the house, into a plane of some sort (I had no idea why I was driving around) and flew to some sort of complex where a bunch of Darth Vaders pwnt me with their lightsabres.
I had no idea that there was even combat in the game, certainly had no way to defend myself...
I think you should re-work your intro to contain a long tutorial section that gets players into the game, starting with the UI and going from there. Big glowing indicators of the next object to interact with in sequence would also be really helpful. What, exactly, is the purpose of the game? What's the player supposed to be doing?

Looks as if it was allot of work judging by the screen shots. Have you used existing engines to build the game? You can statically link in visual studios libraries so that you don't need to install the redistributable to run your game.
Edit::
Most gamers don't know what a GLSL graphics card is, it would be better to say Radeon HD 2350 / GeForce FX cards and greater.

disleksia, very good advice, I am planning a 1.2 in the next couple of months, and I have heard your comment a few times already, when I release an update, it will be done for sure, but also the reason for me not adding fancy menus was that I had no choice but to release the game due to pressures in my private life(it was finnishable version 1), as it would have got old and worthless rotting on my drive had I not.
..Also, I was planning a pdf manual like you would get with morrowind series or similar complex games. but in the future when I am able to work on it.
Evolution, I use Blender game engine, not the best, but free! it copyrights my work and is fully licenced for mass distribution to the public!
the visual studio is only for OS older than 2008, wich dont have it, so I did not go into it, but nice to know, I think Blender should do it from there side though, its one of their requirements not something added by me.
yeah, the graphics cards supported are limited by Blender GLSL mode, so some 3rd party stuff wont work, it should be Nvidia

I tried to download and play your game (the screenies look cool), but unfortunately it does not work on my machine... In the console, it prints this:
shaders not supported!
Python script error from controller "cont1#CONTR#1":
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "firstboot", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named os.path
shaders not supported!
I run Windows 7, Intel i7 3.08 GHz, Nvidia GeForce GTX 260. Any ideas?
Edit: I forgot to add. It runs fine until showing the grey screen showing "Created by...", then the text dispappears and the grey screen stays grey forever.

herman : (looks like 2 problems)
1. (shaders not supported)It seems like your graphics card does not support shaders or it does, but you dont have the correct drivers, your machine sounds quite new so its probably the latter.
2. Im alittle worried that it did not find os.path it could be something in your enviroment like having another version of python installed that is changing the default location of required game files, probably an older version or something.
it could also be possible that these problems are linked.
How old is your os installation?
if its new, it could not be set up properly yet
if its old, it could have complications as a result of many registry entries or programs etc
I hope this can help you

The driver disk that came with your card should have a new enough driver for the shaders to work. Maybe it's because you using an outdated OpenGL, this could be because you never installed your nvidia drivers manually, you let your OS install it for you from the drivers that get shipped with the OS.
Windows does not update OpenGL that comes with it, it's still sitting with version 1.1. Your card supports 3.3, but you need at least 2.1 to run the program. When you install it manually it installs the latest version of OpenGL that your card supports.

Yup, downloading the Nvidia drivers fixed it (I really thought I had them installed already :).
Anyways, I gave it a quick go (I will play it some more later), so this is just some early feedback.
In addition to all the things Dislekcia and Fengol said, I really had trouble with the controls and picking up stuff. At one stage I accidentally dropped my shirt back on the ground, and couldn't pick it up again. I also initially thought that I picked up some stuff, but then noticed that I actually dropped it elsewhere. And even then I also had difficulty knowing whether I really picked up something, or whether it just disappeared. A small thing that will get annoying after a while is that it is hard to click on stuff (could you make the clicking areas bigger?). Another small thing is the behaviour of the camera that needs tweaking... it moves in too close to the player too often (and somewhat, it feels, unpredictably). Some doors won't open, and I am not sure whether they are locked, or whether I am not maneuvering properly to get them open...(not to mention the weird double door effect - is this perhaps a bug?) And I would REALLY like to be able to reverse.
Before anything else, I would fix the core experience (interacting with the world, as Fengol puts it), otherwise most players would get too frustrated to really play and see the rest of your game.
The game looks very interesting, and I can really see the work you put in (and it being a Blender-made came, kudos to you).
I see you plan another version in a few months time... I would suggest releasing in smaller increments to get more early feedback. (In fact, if I were you, I would try to fix the controls and release 1.11 on Monday :-)

herman : it might be alittle shaky, but I can assure you everything included in the game does work, however it was mostly hard coded, the actual editor etc is my own work!, there are a few things I know because I made the game, like when you pick an object up, it does not pick up on click, it picks up on movement, this is because single click is object name, I would have to recode that completely to fix it like it is supposed to work, if you click and drag onto an object, you will find picking things up easyer, also if you have the requirements to play it at a higher resolution you would not notice it as much. oh right the character does not reverse, I never even noticed that, I dont walk backwards often. the problem with moving things is you only have view of one item at a time(hand) you cant see a whole inventory at a time, I dont think there will be enough power to make that many 3D objects, so I would have to make Icons like they use in similar games, obviously it means alot more work doing it this way, so I am hesitant to commit to that change purely from a motto of keep it simple your not a large company your one man!
I did test the game throughy and through every configuration over an 8 month period from when the core and inbuilt editor were completed and ready for the game, maybe if you spend some more time with it.
Something I missed earlyer from disleksia not knowing what to do : the game has one beginning and and one end, and like most games it has a pretty much linear story board, so to make it easyer, when the ingame characters say they are giving you the GPS coords, you can see the little green marker move on the GPS, basically, to finnish it, you follow the GPS signal and interact the way the ingame characters request you to!
If you find a bug at the point of the game actually runs and works, you can almost be sure I know about it already!
