I'll have a look at the other prototypes just now, this is just too cool to pass up. :D
Flood Gods:

This is a super old concept.

Synopsis:
-Defend the city from floods by placing boulders to divert the flow.
-As simple as that.
Comments:
-Water behavious sucks nuts.
Thawt:
http://www.shotbeakgames.za.net/Thawt.gm6
-This is different to the other Thawt concept a while back, but this name is too awesome to pass up. This was originally going to be my GM winter game.
I wanted to experiment with shared resources between you and your enemy.
http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/5301/thawtmr0.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
Synopsis:
-Activate an earth's core to release energy to all units on the earth (friendly and enemy). The units do their stuff (ie run around and shoot) until the earth's core is drained. Then it all stops and the planet freezes again.
-Place units and stuffs.
-Activate core again.
-All units have a initial energy before being activated, thus big huge robots won't be activated unless you cull some lesser robots.
Comment:
-The gameplay is still iffy and not fleshed out at all.
Superjam Cop:
Waterd-down Java version. Need JDK 6.
http://www.shotbeakgames.za.net/CyberJam.zip
-The watered-down version was my entry into comp 15. I can't find the pics now...
Synopsis:
-It is centered around the idea of being a traffic cop (with powers).
-I've always watched these people in amazement and wondered how cool it could be to develop it into a proper game.
-It has a insta-puzzle coolness.
-Add more than one intersection to control.
Comments:
-I think it has humongous casual game-like potential.
-Add Peggle-like character/power combos.
-Different cities = different motorists.
