I stumbled upon this little game simply called "Deaths".

http://www.indiegames.com/blog/2008/07/freeware_game_pick_deaths_jess.html

When you start a level, it spawns 50 cadavers of people who died at various points in the game. While it is kinda shoddily executed, I love the idea of somehow interlinking all players together whilst keeping it a single-player experience.

There must be ways to expand on this idea

What do you think?

That is indeed an interesting game, Tr00jg - thank you for linking us to it. ^_^

I especially like the feature that bodies not only point out potentially dangerous regions, but can also provide gameplay advantage, as it appears that the player can walk on them. In fact, I ended up intentionally letting my self be killed on one occasion in order to use my own body as part of a stepping-stone. ^_^

Another game by the same author, Execution linked-to on the page that you linked to, also sounds interesting, in its effect, at least. (This based on reading some of the thread devoted to it, admittedly, without having actually played it. Note, however, that said thread contains many spoilers to the game.)

Ah, this would be made by Karoshi and its sequel's creator. Brilliantly perception altering games those two are. I'll check this out when I have time, but the concept certainly sounds intriguing.

Be very careful with Execution. You only have one shot at it (pun intended :D).

there is some time traveler type game that was made in flash which is awesome. You can even cause pardoxes etc. This reminds me of that.

That, I think, is the kind of spoiler that I was referring to, albeit a fairly minor one. ;P
