So.
It's hardly a secret that nothing's been happening on this front for quite some time. Astute folks will have noticed that the site itself has recently vanished. Personally, I can no longer find the required time to handle everything for the site, and both Nandrew and I agree that it's about time that we admit that it's the end of the road for us at the helm. But, rest assured, things aren't over, and neither is Dev.Mag gone. Things are changing.
And they're changing in the direction of our awesome Mr Tulleken, who has agreed to take the reins. The site is down now while the hosting changes and the domain moves to the new host. So before long, we should see it re-appearing, and, hopefully, still completely intact and once again active. Herman's working hard to get it back up, and has organised his own contacts to help keep the running smooth - hopefully smoother than it was under Nandrew and myself!
So Dev.Mag will still be around, still community based, and anyone who contributed before or still wants to contribute is welcome to do so. I'll be passing the contact details for our regular writers on to Herman at some point - if anyone has any objections to this, please let me know. Otherwise, I imagine he'll be getting in touch with you shortly about whether or not you'll be interested in writing more stuff. Besides that, things should mostly be continuing pretty much where we left off once the site's up again, just under someone new.
Hopefully, Dev.Mag's done well enough for our community in the time it was handled my me and Nandrew, and I hope it can continue to be a valuable local resource.
