hi guys. just put a game together on yesterday for fun. wanted to hear some opinions.

I haven't heard for any clients yes but we can start of by just offering professional art work as the first prize and then trying to sell the game.

Hope you are all having a Great Halloween on Friday! ;)

Interesting idea... Took me a while to figure out what the answer/score separation meant. Feedback:

The brown water is horribly frustrating, especially with the controls the way they are now: if I have to come out of the brown stuff I invariably fly up and straight out of the screen!
The submit area should be highlighted so that it's more obvious that you have to swim into it, you could also move it around.
Any chance of providing combo multipliers for numbers? That would be pretty neat, especially for getting to the larger values faster.
Have the "sum" visible as a popup/overlay when the level starts. Any chance of putting it in the background of the main play area? Looking to the right messed me over a few times with how easy it was to just shoot out the edge of the level.
Can you make the number notification popups bigger and more animated?

What about having operators floating around (and each moving in different ways) so that you can decide which operator to apply to the numbers you pick up? Also, to go with that idea, I'd have numbers all be tiny fish moving in schools and give the player a "bubble cannon" that could be used to disrupt these schools so that you could easily pick up the numbers you wanted. So you could have a school of 8 teeny fish (1s) all swimming about and your current value is 5 with the question saying "3 + 7". You'd fire off a few bubble streams to separate the 8 school into two schools of 3 and one of 2 fish, while picking up a large "+" jellyfish that's floating around languidly. Then all you have to do is swim past one of the schools of 3 and the school of 2 (maybe hitting the RMB to open your mouth and "suck" in the fish?) and you'd have 10.

You could do some cool things with that concept, like having larger fish be worth 2 and still move in schools (up to a value of 3 would still school I think) promoting mental multiplication. Larger fish could be 5s and 10s, maybe there are predatory fish that eat little ones to increase their own number? With this type of gameplay you could even create puzzle levels with specific solutions (like only having multiplication and a couple of predators, so you'd have to use your bubbles to herd small fish towards each of them until the reached the right values to multiply to the correct total)... Zeronemones?

The controls need a maximum speed. Or if there is one, it should be a little lower...

Sorry, I'm just spitballing here. But with a little work this concept could be a neat educational fun puzzler thing, slap in some Mochi ads and you could have a nice bit of play in schools. Plus everyone likes casual games with fish in them ;)

lol. wow. ok, that is quite alot of ideas. I will see what I can do to put these in. I am doing it in my free time and I am not a coder. so I am figuring things out as I go along. hehe.

Thanks for the advice, some great ideas ;)
