Thanks. :)
Hehe, yeah ^_^ Those guys are going to be very troublesome in the final game. Thankfully, your'll have some very big guns, at your disposal. ;)

'Tis a cool start, Cyberninja - I look forward to seeing the next version. ^_^
By the way, why is the 'B' key the "fire" key?
(I'm afraid that I have little more to add; the only problems that I noticed are already covered in your list of features to add, I believe.)

Thanks Thaum. :) No reason really, just a random key. I'll be changing the keys again, once I setup Co-Op mode.

It has improved, I believe. ^_^
I'm glad to see that the borders are now operable - although I do think them a little "sticky". When pushing against a border, I think that it would feel more natural to be able to move perpendicular to it without resistance.
I like the red 'X' enemy, by the way - tricky, and cool. ^_^
What happened to the nice projectile detonation effect that I seem to recall being in the past version, however?

Ah, okay. A mask should fix that. :) Yeah, I left out all the flashy effects in this version. I wanted to concentrate on the gameplay first, and leave the flashy/pretty stuff for last. I'll be using 3d rendered sprites for the graphics, so that will take some time. =]
Overall, how is the difficulty of the game? Are the enemies too fast?

No, I don't think so - I moved through this level fairly easily, as I recall. It makes for a good, eclectic early level, I think. Later levels (or higher difficulty settings) should, I think, be harder.
(For those later levels / harder difficulty levels, I recommend at least one type of enemy that is capable of absorbing one or more shots before being killed.)
