GearGod (a GM-coding maestro) is back. He has a new blog up with real nifty examples, like Metaballs, distortion and other eye-candy-ish things.

Here is the link

(It is not in date order for some reason)

I just dont like how he does it... He has that "I am better than GM, I am awesome" attitude. Its as if he is blaming GM for its limitations because he cant be the cool kid anymore.

Anyway, that blog still has awesome examples! Check it out!

I've seen all those examples of his before. The newest thing he's done is the leet interpreter... I really don't like the guy, he's nothing special. He literally just takes commonly known techniques and implements them in GM with a couple of well-stolen graphics, then acts all high and mighty about it.

He once decided that the way I was doing timescaling and prediction in my network code was downright wrong. Bigass flamewar. Anyone can be like him if you're willing to spend some time reading up on techniques as places like gamedev.net and the various published papers from people like Mark Kilgaard, etc.
