I'm glad to hear it. ^_^

What changes do you plan on making to the AI, if I may ask?

Sure you can use it... Can you extrapolate from the code in the helicopter prototype I posted a while back or do you want the technique explained? It's really simple.

It looks good, 01DT!m3r. ^_^

I really like the use of the 3D buildings, and the blue retro-men "falling down" the screen. ^_^

However, for some reason, it doesn't seem to like my having a dual-screen setup (I use my TV as a second monitor for use in watching DVDs ;)) - the right-click menu appears on the second screen. This might be related to the game being in full-screen mode - is the option to switch to windowed mode available, perhaps?

Finally, I noticed a few instances of the walls of buildings disappearing for some reason, and buildings appearing over buildings that it seemed that they should appear behind. The following screenshot should hopefully illustrate (the former better than the latter, admittedly, I think):

To be honest, with the menu appearing on another screen, I haven't been doing much playing. ^^;

I may later disable Dualview and test it with only one screen active, however.

I have noticed, however, that clicking on a menu item while men are selected seems to also give those men a movement order, which strikes me as being unlikely to be what the player wants.

[edit 2]
Okay, I've tested it with the second "screen" disabled, and I have a few more comments:

With a single screen, the buying menu opens at the bottom-left of the screen; since I tend to keep my base towards the centre of the screen, this puts the menu in a slightly inconvenient position.
I'm not sure that I like having my units slowly die - especially since I find that, early on, at least, yellow units tend to simply slowly fade, having little to do. At the least I would suggest considering having kills provide more health. The fade effect does, however, look nice. ^_^
It seems that in some cases subsequently-bought units can end up on top of each other, leaving both immovable. I've noticed this with regards to the yellow units specifically, but this may simply be a result of my play-style.
If one attempts to buy a unit when one already reached the cap for that unit, the unit i, of course, not given, but the payment seems to nevertheless be extracted.

It's looking good, however, I believe. ^_^

Heheh, fair enough. I hope that you find time soon (without losing anything valuable that's currently taking up time, of course!). ^_^
