(Jumping onto the bandwagon)
I think this will help me to stop procrastinating and get through my work and complete it all.

As with the others, use and abuse the code, etc etc. :)

Runaway was aimed at being a simple addictive game, and then when I started getting better ideas for it it got to the point where I was adding more ideas. Note though, I started this when I should have been working on/finishing Angle Racer ;)

This was my first serious game project, and its on my to complete list still. This isnt the one with the new line scripts, an I'll add that here at some stage, but Id rather release the less buggy versions.

Paper Aeroplane (http://realdev.co.za/egfiles/PA.gmk)

My friends and I found a game for phones called "Paper Aeroplane" and I though it would be fun to remake it for computer. Its a mouse controlled game where you click to lift up, and let go and you drift down. Its highly addictive and fun. Please ignore the graphics on this one (you can make me feel bas about the others) but I didnt have anything besides paint (meaning not my pretty tools like PSP9) to create sprites in (although Im not that good at spriting anyway).

Shouldn't we make a sticky that links to these threads?

nah, cause people are going to work on them again or enter them in later entries. This is just an opportunity to show that game dev is greater than the comps and break the stigma of developers only releasing games once they're perfect.

Game.Dev is place for sharing your work in progress and opening yourself to growth and feedback. Do not fear comments on your game and code; learn to take the risk and use what other people have to say.

Yeah just easier to find if its all stickied :P I reckon anyway, cause its going to be bouncing around in the forum list.

I never grow tired of Copter/Plane Aeroplane type games. The mechanics are so simple and you can just go on and on forever! Congrats!

Heh, I think that I remember Runaway - a version of it, at least. It was cool, as I recall. ^_^

The screenshot that you posted of Angle Racer looks very cool - I really like the laser effect. ^_^

(As with some of Tr00jg's prototypes, it seems that the "lite" version doesn't offer certain functions that your games use, so I haven't managed to try out the prototypes themselves, I'm afraid. >_<)

Heh, I don't really use GameMaker - I installed it for the first time yesterday (I think that it was) specifically to play those prototypes that were released as GameMaker files. :P
