Well, the pc game was phailage, but I'm going to somewhat turn it into a TCG (duel style)

Sorry for the long description but here goes:

What you need:
Dice
Coin
five sets of marbles consisting of five different colors(recommended but a pen and paper can also be used), this is for "element"

Mechanoid deck

Weapons/Armor Deck

Quick play deck

Mechanoid deck
--------------

This deck is self explanatory and contains the mechanoids you fight with

What appears on a Mechanoid card?

Name - This is the name of the Mechanoid

Element cost - The amount of element you need to sacrifice to summon the mechanoid

HP - the health of the Mechanoid

Effect/Desrciption - The effect/description of the mechanoid

ATT/DEF - obvious

Level - The level refers to the "strength" of the mechanoid, the higher the level the stronger the monster will be.

Type - the element of the mech

How many times can a Mech card be played per turn?

Mech cards don't go per turn, but go per round. At the end of a round, mech cards can be exchanged and summoned. Only if a quick-play card states that a mech can be exchanged/summoned then it may.

Weapons/armor Deck
------------

The cards in this deck increases you mech's attack/defence.

What appears on such a card?

Name - obvious

Element cost - The amount of element you need to sacrifice to summon the mechanoid

Effect/Desrciption - The effect/description of the card

+ATK/+DEF - the amount of ATK/DEF increased

How many times can a Mech card be played per turn?

Only once

Quick play deck
--------------

This deck contains quick-play cards, they're used to turn the tides in an instant

What appears on such a card?

Name - obvious

Element cost - The amount of element you need to sacrifice to summon the mechanoid

Effect/Desrciption - The effect/description of the card

How many times can a quick-play card be played per turn?

These cards can be played many times per turn, usually during the opponent's turn when he/she attacks or even in a reply to another quick-play card.

and the way it's played:

How a game works:

The game starts with the opponents putting their three decks next to each other on their respective sides of the field. Each person draws three(3) mech cards from their Mech decks, chooses one card and puts it FACE DOWN on the dueling field.

Each person gets five element(ONE TYPE ONLY), so make sure you choose wisely.

Flip a coin to decide who goes first.

1st TURN
---------

1) Throw the dice, add the amount of element of your choice to your elemental-stock.NB: if f.i you throw a five(5), you can differentiate between the different elements(f.i 2xred, 2xblue and 1xblue = 5)

2) summon your Mech, pay the amount of element.

3) draw from your remaining decks

4) add armor/weapons

5) end turn

THIS COUNTS FOR BOTH PERSONS AND REMEMBER THAT ONLY ONE WEAPON/ARMOR CARD CAN BE ATTACHED PER TURN!

THE REST OF THE TURNS
---------------------

1) Throw the dice, add the amount of element of your choice to your elemental-stock.NB: if f.i you throw a five(5), you can differentiate between the different elements(f.i 2xred, 2xblue and 1xblue = 5)

2) draw from your remaining decks

3) add armor/weapons

4) Attack (optional)

4.5) this is where the quick-play cards come in

5) end turn

WHEN ATTACKING
--------------

When attacking, the mech's only attack each other. if the attack of the attacking mech is higher than the defence of the defending mech, the defending mech is destroyed. If the attack of the attacker is LOWER than the defence of the defender, a coin is flipped/element is paid(depends on mech), if the coin lands on HEADS then the defending mech can counter attack thus destroying the other mech. If it lands on TAILS, damage equal to the attacker's attack points is dealt to the defender.

Players take turns attacking/defending until a mech is destroyed. This is the end of a ROUND. At the end of the round the winning mech MUST be removed from the game and a new mech must be summoned. At the end of a round each player draws ONE card from their mech decks and put it face down. Then commence as in 1st turns.

If a player does not have enough element to summon either of his/her mechs, his mech's must be shown to the opponent and the weakest mech is summoned.

I'm working on some cards, any comments, suggestions and queries welcome. :)

PS: Chess Team arena is discontinued, at least for now. :)

just one question, I read through your description but I might have missed it,
how do you win ?

Oh damn, I forgot to mention that!

The "match" consists of predefined rounds, either 3, 5 7 etc. Player who wins the most rounds wins. Alternatively you can hold "3 on 3" or "5 on 5" matches where you can re-summon your old mechs used in previous rounds. :)
