I've been following some very helpful Unity3D tutorials on Youtube where they make a game from scratch in Unity3D. The tutorial is very informative and by far one of the best tutorial series I've seen regarding Unity 3D.

In this tutorial they make a game called "The worminator", it's basically a 3D 3rd person shooter of a worm and a few turrets shooting each other with fireballs. They cover almost everything from Unity3D's interface to the main menu. It's going to be quite a nice game when finished.

You can view my game here (http://www.bonezmannsgames.vistahosting.cn/worm/Assets/WormGameTestRun.html) as I follow the tutorials, or view the series here (http://www.youtube.com/user/TornadoTwins).

This is really a nice tutorial for Unity3D beginners. Anyone else following the tutorials? Let's discuss it here. :)

Yip! I've been following them if not duplicating them because I've been so just gosh darn busy (with work and my own board game) but I can second them for anyone wanting to learn Unity3D.

3D on the web yo!

UPDATE:

An updated version of my worm game made from the tutorials above is located here (http://www.bonezmannsgames.vistahosting.cn/worm/Assets/WormGameTestRun.html).

I've taken note of some of the most obvious bugs:

Right Click to shoot results in irritating menu (This can be bypassed by going to fullscreen)

The worm rotates a tad too fast

The Toon lines look terrible(although this is not a bug, I thought I'd just mention it myself.)

The camera doesn't work as it should, because of this, you cannot see the worms awesome face.

Final note:

I leave you with the picture of the model available for download in the tutorial. :)
