wud be cool to have more infos here, like what its bout etc. within reason u need motivation to visit the site.

Story line has lots of other elements from other games or am i confused? the story seems cool, if not epic project for little design :) i dont know if im making sense, but yea ;p

Yes the game is bassed apon system shock2 it was very emersive and deep...
I am using a bit of doom and crysis.
It's all done in Game maker and DX8.1 <"remember Half-Life 2 ran Dx8"
And it does use shaders! ;)
Most of the info is on my site Due to the fact that it may spoil the game...
i expected a larger reation than this or does no one realy browse the game dev?

for game maker? well done i say. i woudl vote no to unoriginal content though. i read through the site and what not, sounds cool. keep it up.
just a note : you have seen the starcraft 2 trailer? you have seen gameplay of starcraft 2? it doesnt make the game ANY less awesome trust me. people need motivation to look at your game and want to play it... without any tangible grasp there will be less response. if i pasted pictures of my cat here but didnt explain it was my game then nobody would know what is going on.
Your post should have some info :) then people can reply.

I took a look at your site and, to be honest, both the grammar and spelling and the appropriation of elements from Doom and System Shock 2 bother me.
(I haven't played Crysis, and so didn't notice any elements taken from there.)
That said, I don't know many people are about Game.Dev right now, although the number of responses will hopefully increase. ^_^
As to spoiling the game, this is a game development forum, after all - share it, and we may have further input for you. ^_^

Many years ago i started project recall a untamed beast.
It leaped platform's from Qb.dos ,Freebasic.win and now U3D.
Recall is a dream to me a blend of fps and rpg .
What to expect:
*Research
*Weapons modding
*Security & hacking
*A TWISTED STORYLINE----------
*Agresive enemies that will stop at nothing to kill u
*Intense fps combat
*Rich rpg experience with a simple interface
*Shader model 1.4 DirectX 8
*Clean 3D propotionate positional Audio using Fmod and
audio filters such as: compretion, echo ,reverb, distort,
spatalizer and dopeler all handled my engine called: _chromance_

*stem system "this will give the player abilities"
stem will give the player modes to put the player in the limit is based on internal a generator that supplies ponits.
Mode 1 "current avialable points = 5"
strength +2 "-2 points"
speed -2 "+2 points"

After the fatal accident on the vonbraun caused by the Hacking of xerxes a virus known as shodan destroyed the vonbraun, The entity shodan has some how survived and infected the systems of the phobos moon supply station.
U awaken on phobos.
The phobos moon station has:

Robots making stuff
Filled with robo critters
mechanical armsMild danger here!
Controll room
: Bio chemical lab
Bioriods and wierd gasses
Pools of blood and slime"glowing"
Control room
: Troop deployment barracks
Many cyber troops and medium arments
Lockers and equipmnet

Main computer house and control room for phobos station
First glimpse of shodan!
: Aero dome<-- "visual vista"
Big open space
A clear view of space
Craft flying past dome
See other nearby planets
Residential, rest & dining area in aero dome

Many space craft here "all parked"
Genetic criters here...

Small passages
Pipes and tiny walkways
Almost clustrophobic
Dark & ambient

Find the plasma gun

i will say nothing further in order to preserve the rest as secret...
yes i do make spelling mistakes some times when your smart some things kind of miss fire.
and the fact that i don't sleep anymore...

Wow, it looks almost as good as Crysis.

Thanx i try realy hard to get the look right. it's all in the textures to get the best look.
The effect you see on the floor is Bump maping with a touch of Paralax mapping.
My only weakness is that i am not good at modeling organic shapes.

There are hundereds of methods. usualy used for characters or flesh, most levels and basic objects like guns
are made up primitive objects like squares, spheres and so on..
the most common method is. sculpting where a basic shape is divided several times and then shaped like clay.

I made extensive work on enemy attack code and path finding today.
I need to work on different attack paterns next weekend.

Hey, more System Shock 2 - style goodness is never a bad idea.
One piece of advice luenardi: Starting from a well known property (like SS2 or DOOM) is good in some ways and very, very difficult in others. Remember to differentiate your story and make your own content enjoyable. People are going to be looking at what you do a lot more critically thanks to the pedigree you've appropriated for yourself. If you're up to the challenge, great, but expect a little harsh treatment now and again as people get touchy about the franchises they know and love.
Combining multiple properties is going to make that even harder for you. Good luck! I'm keen to see where this goes.

Added new features..
Fixed collition detection it's perfect now!
Added enviroment maping, bloom lighting, motion blur, object blur, depth of view
and wrote some shaders. hl2 water anyone?
Staring work on the new audio engine..
This game actualy requires a big pc... as every thing is calculated realtime
and not compile time..
a draw back due to Game maker.
