I've decided to go ahead and kickoff Sharing Week 3 to see what is springing up from other developers minds, and using it as an effort to salvage some ingenuity of my own.
I have a prototype that I'm working on that I will post as soon as it's done. I'm also developing software that will help XNA developers =)

I'm in dev limbo at the moment, sorting through all my ideas and WIP projects for something exciting to work on. Trying my hand at some more MIDI music in the meantime, just to see if I'm capable of creating semi-decent tunes that aren't shamelessly ripped from Gears of War.

after getting thoughly peeved at windows calculators dec<->hex conversion "slowness", I came up with the ultimate fix, so i could continue working without stabbing someone:
this does dec<->hex<->bin<->dec convesion automatically while not occupying more task bar space and constantly minimizing:

well apart from making more tools(i never seem to finish anything else) and doing other arb crap, i finally did some work building my own GUI system, cause for some reason i don't like the available ones...

atm i'm finishing a lua script caching system for the UI + other places(such as AI, Events etc), before i finish the rest of the elements and skin them properly(AA'd primitives ftw!)

Aeq and I are working on prototypes for a new contract, we should release them soon so that we can get feedback and a general "which one is more fun" feeling from you guys before we pick the one we'll take all the way :)

Heheh, yeah I want to try and put some stuff up for this thread soon :)
Im currently working (on and off) on prototypes for the engine I plan to use for a DBP entry, but a more pressing matter is finishing the downloads thread's php scripts so that I can move it from a forum thread to a self maintaining website. Also, Ive added a reminder to Monday afternoon summarise the Sharing Week 2 shares.
Will come back and share some pics at some stage when I have some.

I'm busy making a prototype/alpha version of "The Mee Game". Making crappy 3D models at most of the chances I can get.
Here's a sample of a "computer virus"

What's Descent? Link plz? It's inspired by nothing, that's raw imagination right there. ;)
edit:
Okay, I need some input. I have a puzzle level, the puzzle level has MANY moving platforms, going from A to B each respectively. iow, A LOT of movement. Now, do you gusy think it would be best if I:
A) leave them all to animate simultaneously? This might confuse the player very much, but then again that is kinda the goal of a puzzle game, right?
OR
B) make them all static so a platform only moves when the player touches it? This might confuse the player even more than A, which is kinda what I'm going for but would it be too much?
I can't decide, pointers? Suggestions? anything please?

I use Jazz++, a freeware MIDI sequencer. Glad you liked the music! I put more time into it than I should have (OMGbuuuuuugs), but I'm happy that people like the results! ^_^

I never ever played this game before, maybe a demo a few years ago, the screenshots look familiar. So no, I haven't been inspired by Descent either story or model design. :)
