I assume you guys have a lot of experience with their engines :)
How does the 2D iphone stuff hold up to Unity?
I only have a pc and not a mac so their iTorque2D engine seems really interesting to me. I assume it can deploy to an iphone from a pc with little hassle.
I'm looking for something reasonably cheap to prototype some game ideas and put them onto my iphone.
Is this a good product to use for that?

Yea, you can develop the majority of your game on windows or mac here. The problem is you can't deploy to a device without a mac, thats just how it is.
WRT Unity - This is a 100% dedicated 2D engine. It comes with hundreds of 2d features in the form of behaviors, scripts and community posts. Unity has nothing on it for 2D games.

Okay, that sounds really cool.
I'm a bit confused about their licensing though. If you buy iTorque2D do you get Torque2D with it? Or do you need to buy both in order to be able to make and deploy games for the iPhone?
