"The goal of this contest for the Ohrrpgce engine was to make a terrible game. The games are terrible, intentionally, but interesting."
With Dislekcia getting around to starting another comp, I saw this theme on TIGSource and thought it worth sharing.
A previous theme they had was Cockpits (http://tigsource.com/articles/2009/05/04/cockpit-compo-results) of which Enviro-Bear 2000: Operation: Hibernation was hilarious

Eviro-Bear 2000 was brilliant :)
You haven't played it properly until you've seen Nandrew freak out when he gets badgered.

These are a laugh, pity about the narrator's voice (especially in that first vid) being as enjoyable as chewing wasps. Or glass. Or wasps made from glass, each with a tiny chainsaw.
Some of these actually have a certain poignance about them (Pope vs Science, Moron Mission) that would elicit a great response if used with a more satirical twist. Many games including GTA proves, to me anyway, that games could possibly be the ultimate evolution of satire.
Heck, in SA we have so much richly humourous material to pick from just coming from the ANCYL alone, never mind the rest of the political setup - I'd love to see Julius Malema vs. Nandos, or even a full "Malema versus..." series kick off.

I'm OK! (http://www.imok.gzwn.net) - A murder simulator.

Play it, love it :) Fengol and I had a 60 year old lady shouting "Pee on his brain!" during a talk we did about games and art at UNISA once, all thanks to this game.
