Which version of GM are you using? If you're using 7 then you shouldn't have to clean up the sprites, the formats should automatically have alpha channels in them... Just un-check Transparent on the sprites and they should work fine with soft edges and everything.

flip i had those soft edges taken care of... must of loaded the wrong one.. but when i said clean the sprites, i meant the ugly ladder sprite i drew in 2 seconds. But otherwise, how is the actual game?

I'm sorry to hear it - at least you have something to submit, however. ^_^

You've done some good work here, I think - the various blocks work nicely, and it seems to me to be a good adaptation of the pea idea - well done. ^_^

It took me a little while to get the hang of the game on the first level, but after that it flowed more smoothly for me, I think.

I like the up-side-down flood level - it's nicely strange, and shows off a good use for the water. Having introduced water in the previous level is a good idea, I believe, since it makes the behaviour of the water in this, slightly odd level more transparent, I think.

The jumping expression is so cute! ^_^

By the way, what is the long brown object in the water on the final level? o_0

I was thinking of building on from each level... for eg. introduce a new "block" in each level, or utilise more "blocks" in a level. The levels were supposed to increase with difficulty as you progressed!

I also wanted to put a information block which kinda gave you the jist of the level!

I enjoyed the expressions... i made a better looking jumping sprite, but alas the time was a bugger.

The long brown object is, infact, the boost meter for the pea. It seems to be overlayed with the water sprite. I couldn figure out how to load it last? but oh well, thats just probably poor level design!

I think im still going to work on this even thought the comp is finished, seeing as its my first actual game! I believe it is capabale of greatness ;)

Good luck with your further work on the project! ^_^

Aah, of course - I feel a little silly for not having identified it. ^^;
