At Luma Arcade (http://www.lumaarcade.com/) one of the titles we're working on is The Harvest on the Windows Phone 7, which has been finally shown at GamesCon in Germany and I can share with you!

Gametrailers has 2 videos of a play through http://www.gametrailers.com/game/the-harvest/13714 The Harvest is a futuristic hack 'n slash adventure set during an alien invasion on earth.
Unfortunately I can't talk about release dates, prices or the availability of the phones yet.
The game is built in XNA and is full 3D (we are fortunate to have some incredible artists) and as the videos show, uses screen touches to navigate and use your special abilities.

Yay! Visibility :)
I really want one of those phones after that visit... You guys managed to sort out the issues around your support dude getting you stuck when he teleports in for the first time?

Nice one! The game is turning out beeauuutiful! That's quite a large feature list already and it looks like there'll be a lot of content.
How many enemies can you get onto the screen at one time? It looks like you can do 4 or 5, which is quite a lot for a mobile game with this much detail. Some of those special moves look designed for crowd control.
This game may benefit from an overlayed map, otherwise I can see the player spending a lot of time jumping to the map screen, although the environments so far appear pretty open plan, so maybe it's not a problem.
P.S. Secrecy sucks (though I totally understand)

FuzzYspo0N is right and I can't get into much detail :( There have been some amazing design challenges which I'll definitely share post-launch.
Managing the memory usage and frame rate has been a constant issue and the development team has also had to deal with the new platform being developed by MS. The team has however done a fantastic job and the enemy encounters are busy being balanced so that player's special abilities stand out.
The size of the mobile screen has also been a challenge in terms of giving the player all the information he needs to play while not detracting from what's happening on screen (and memory considerations). Unlike a PC game where you use the mouse, the player must use his massive finger to touch the HUD buttons on the phone.

I think the build we see in that video looks quite slick. The interface looks good (I especially like the whole tilt-to-pan thing, as I've mentioned to Fengol) and it ooooozes polish. I'm very keen to see (or better still, PLAY) the release version!

O_o I totally didn't notice the tilt-to-pan. I just thought the game was noticing which direction the character was walking in and positioning the camera accordingly... That's a smexy feature :)

This title is getting quite a bit of exposure now that Windows Phone 7 has been launched. The Microsoft reps seem quite enthusiastic about it. Nice.
(Only major critique I've read about is the long loading time. Though that seems to be the case for a few of the "bigger" games on the platform.)

I also saw this link today:
http://kotaku.com/5661137/make-way-ds-psp-and-iphone-here-are-8-windows-phone-7-games-in-action
Kotaku lists it as one of the top 10 W7P games!

Hehehehe. It doesn't help that they are demoing it in that video using one of the prototype Samsung phones with dodgy flash memory that is approximately 2x slower than the other phones :)

I've looked at the youtube vid and I find it very exciting to see how well it runs on the prototype. I love the tilt-pan action, seriously cool. I've got an old TyTN II with a disabled 3D chip. Would have loved to maybe try and create something similar. For the rest of the world it may not look all that, but I'm proud to be a South African dev today. Well done and good luck, Luma!

No date has been scheduled yet :(
A little birdie told me that soon a whole bunch of Microsoft ZA office employees are geting W7 phones, so the day is probably on our doorstep.

Rraargh! I so want one...
Im probably going to take the dive and do the first massage-mood-light-zombie-apocalypse-avatar game on windows sev.... What I mean is, if I get my ideas sorted out I'll probably do a game targetting the platform, especially with XBL coming to SA some time soon

@Pyke Main development cycle (excluding what went into last year's GDC) was about 6 months with a fairly large team.

Not the first time either ;) Hence the original launches... and the xbox live.... But to see MS flaunting a tablet with it at a key note rocks indeed.
Out of interest, how long as it been in development?
Also note that it is finished, ready and available from the zune market place for a while already :)
