Off topic I know, but I thought it appropriate considering the "How do I program" questions we've been getting.

I don't trust programmers that didn't learn to program in order to make games. I trust game coders with traditional CompSci backgrounds a hell of a lot more tho ;)

Such people don't exist! I refuse to believe it.

Actually, you can find them in places like Latvia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latvia), Eastern European which was sheltered by the Wests "influences". It's actually a little freaky meeting the developers there cause they're not geeks! They don't watch Star Trek, haven't seen Star Wars, they don't drink coffee (prefering green tea) and hobbies include skiing and motorcross. Most of them don't even have Xboxs or PS3s.
They program cause it's good money

But who put up the Wiki page if they don't have any geeks?
