If you've got the bandwidth for them (and QuicktimeAlternative), be sure to download all the IGS panels and speeches that are being released on video at the moment. They're just over 100megs each (some are a little bigger) but they're well worth the watch.

I'm halfway through Kim Swift talking about indie game development, Narbacular Drop and getting hired by Valve to make Portal. Awesome stuff ;) Apparently the Russ Carroll video is pure hax too.

That sounds interesting - thank you for the link. ^_^

Will they still be up over the next few months? It might be wise for me to spread them out a little, so as to minimise the cap impact on any one month...

Don't see why they'd suddenly get taken down... They might become harder to find though, unless you bookmark the links directly.

Aah, fair enough, and thanks - I'll probably bookmark them, then. ^_^

I just finished watching the Eric Zimmerman clip on his company Gamelab!!! It is frikking awesome! Definitely worth the bandwidth!!! Another one I found very interesting is Daniel James' talk on indie MMO's!!! Kim Swift's talk on Portal was very uninspiring to me, she just sounded like she didnt know what sh was talking about! Anyways, thanks a lot for the link Dis, and seriously guys, get Eric Zimmerman's, it frikking rocks!!!

P.S. I know this is kinda random, but does anyone know where I can get a free PDF creator?

Will take a look at them, but is there any chance they'll be on the next NAG DVD? Perhaps January? I'd really rather not decimate my cap so early in the month...

I tried to get them on the DVD last week, turns out that the DVD is current so full that grievous decisions are having to be made as to which awesome content to drop. So them appearing on a DVD in the near future isn't too likely...

I will keep trying tho, hopefully early next year will see a lull in kickass demos and such ;)

If you're not running Vista, PDFCreator (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/) is just as good, and doesn't have annoying nag screens, as it's free.
