Gameplay: The purpose of the game is to convert the entire map to your territory. This is done by placing units or capturing enemy and civlian buildings. Each unit captures a unique amount of area, but can only be placed in your area. Your income is determined by how much of the land you own, and how many buildings you control. This game is going to be designed as a rapid point and click game.
Controls: Left m/button: Select unit
Right m/button: Place unit
Debugging controls: F2: Change the amount of money
F3: Shows which unit is selected
F4: Makes some "area" when you right click
F5: Makes enemy area when you right click
F6: Shows your current income
Problems: Look at the game before reading this, its hard to explain what I want without showing you!! Ok, so if you guys could just help with one thing. For the gaining area thing when a unit is placed. I cant see how else to do it other than with a grid system! First off, is there anyway I can make that shape that it makes a circle, the next problem I have then is how do I make it not have to make 160 of the land object, since this causes the game to lag after a while!!! The way that I would like to do this is, have a border system like in Rise of Nations. The problem is I dont know how to just push out one area of a shape( I dont think this is possible), for example, you can just change a circles radius, not just stretch one point!! Please help if you can!!! Thanks
