I really like the idea of a set of championships for people that are trying to design language- and culture-neutral puzzles. It's exactly these kinds of puzzles that made me the curious bastard I am today.

Everyone loves puzzles :)

Another interesting link - thank you again, Dislekcia. ^_^

I think that I might take a shot at a few of the puzzles later - and I agree that such a championship is a good idea - providing competition should hopefully promote innovation, and thus increase the number of such language- and culture- neutral puzzles. ^_^

I've been a fan of Sudoku ever since Brain Training... Now I'm starting to get into Kakuro. Hectic stuff, but so much fun :)

Puzzles are awesome. Odd how a world event like this one isn't publicized more.

Ironically, Sudoku is a puzzle that I don't like. :P

(To go off on a slight tangent, I am reminded of a Sudoku puzzle that, for some reason, turned up in the middle of a horror adventure game (which was played online, if I recall correctly) which was, as I recall, rather good otherwise.)

Kakuro looks interesting, however - I am, at least, fond of crosswords, and Kakuro looks like an interesting mathematical variation on the idea.
