No one's beaten it yet. I made it to level 3, but had to kill two level 3 bandits to get there after which I had about 15 levels of curse and was pretty much doomed! Will be very impressed if anyone manages it.

I guess after 2 weeks of pretty straightforward dailies we were due some tougher ones, but the difficulty curve seems to have been increasing exponentially over the last 3 days - dread to think what tomorrow's will be!

Big piece of advice I can give: if given the choice between racking up curses or exploring a little too much, go for the exploration. I know there's the temptation to save blackspace as a Monk but you can't really do it here anyways due to the blinking/life stealing sub-boss. Being over-explored and under-leveled hurts, but isn't going to prevent you from winning. Getting stuck in curse world? That can end your game very easily.

Actually, add subdungeon to my list of things I'm interested about. You can conserve blackspace down there (if it's an option) so that could be quite significant.

You were blocked in at the start so there was no choice at all but to kill at least 1 level 1 - I got unlucky and had to kill 3 (and they were all thralls, so had to use 2 healing potions), before I could get anywhere.

The main preps I can remember were: Dracul, bloody sigil, Patches, conversion scroll, attack boosters, bet on the boss. Definitely no fireball magnet or gods other than Dracul, and no altars or glyphs available early on (at least I didn't find any before I got stuck in the cursed world). There was a spoon and a tri-sword available for purchase reasonably early on, but not before killing the first few monsters. I don't think I found the subdungeon.

So you got me curious and I tried it, here is my report:
Human Monk in Cursed Oasis
Preps:
Mana Pendant / Attack Boosters / Dragon Soul
Bloody Sigil / Patches / Dracul
Bear Mace / Black Market / Shop Scroll
Compression Seal / Slayer Wand / Bet on Boss

Glyphs: Pisorf, Endiswal, Imawal, Burndarayz, Apheelsik
Subdungeons: Zombie Gold, Monster Zoo
Shops: Tri-Sword, Spoon, Viper Ward, Poisonous Dagger, Crystal Ball, Tower Shield, Blue Bead, can't remember anything else
Gods: Dracul, Mystera, Pactmaker

A very tough challenge, but that's Monk in Cursed Oasis always... Apheelsik was pretty neat and helped a lot in early level 2 kills. Also the prepped Bear Mace was pretty handy in knocking a level 2 animated armour out of the way.
I decided to go straight for the Dragon, ignoring the shade. But then I remembered that I get cursed for every hit, so I had to fight the Shade as I didn't have enough popcorn left for all the hits... Luckily I was able to curse myself again by hitting a level 9 Bandit... I used a level up (6->7) and all my potions against the shade and still wasn't able to kill it. Some shenanigans with Dracul later I was able to beat him (using most of my blood pools and the last items I could spare for an additional 10% damage). Afterwards, the dragon was a piece of cake as I kept Apheelsik and Burndarayz for the fight, took bloodshield to be able to tank a hit, and had some darkness left + the two subdungeons untouched. All in all, a pretty close one, I think I should have bought the crystal ball instead of the poisonous dagger + soul orb, but well in that moment it seemed good as it helped me to kill some Thralls... (the poisonous dagger not so much, guess that one was completely wasted, damn those undeads :D)
