I tried to make a Chemist video, but a combination of my lack of familiarity with the class and lack of sleep made the attempts rather futile. Still, I'm having a blast working out the class. It's such a great feeling to "start fresh" with something in Desktop Dungeons. I had many enjoyable runs in double doom (among others), and one very exciting victory in the Demonic Library as well. It still feels like I'm not playing it quite right; my biggest hurdle is that I keep underestimating the value of blackspace, given how potions are no longer reliable restoration resources. Striking a balance between early exploration to leverage that ridiculous early power potential and perserving blackspace for the higher levels is quite tricky. You can use pretty much all of the gods effectively (though obviously some are especially good), and you can do so much with the class; I don't think I've ever mixed regen-fighting, single-hit spiking, concentrated casting, and multiple level-up canons to this degree within the same run before. Explosive feels like a good word to describe it, and I love it!
Neat little thing I noticed: If you have the Bloody Sigil, you'll regen a flat 1 health per tile in manaform. Came in handy, not to mention that the sigil's +5 health is particularly useful for the level 1 chemist. Also, I spent some time wondering whether the Trisword was rigged to appear near the dungeon entrance any time I played a Chemist. Looks like it was just luck, but I went and lockered the Trisword, since it's also a fantastic item to start the dungeon with as a Chemist.
A few bugs/Issues/comments (I've mostly skimmed through the topic, so appologies if these have already been reported):
1 - The map screen icons for bosses that have re-coloured monster sprites (Stheno, Herp the Foreman, Anoobis, Getanadafix, Cursed Dragon... I may be forgetting one) show the regular monster sprite in the tooltip when you hover the mouse cursor over them. Maybe related to the issue Tinker brought up about the Witchalok Pendant? And of course, it's already been pointed out that the names are typically wrong; in case no one has given a repro (unlikely, but still), the first boss you hover over will have their name displayed, and every boss you highlight afterwards will have that initial boss' name displayed instead of their own. This resets after every dungeon run.

2 - The information panel for glyphs and items tends to stay extended after I've stopped highlighting the inventory slot with my cursor, and goes away only when I click on the dungeon screen; I can't interact with the dungeon unless I make it go away. Don't have more specifics, this is just something I noticed i was finding annoying as I was playing, but I can test it further if necessary.
3 - Given that the dailies are identical for all players, this is most likely by design, but I was surprised to see items from my Veto Slots in the daily dungeon.
4 - I don't know if this is what you were referring to when you mentioned the Settings menu at the start of the topic, but when I adjust the volume slider I only hear the change after I let go of the slider. Hearing the volume adjust as I manipulate the slider would be much better.
I'll be back for more, hopefully I'll be able to spend some time playing this weekend, instead of just playing on week nights when I'm supposed to be sleeping

EDIT: I just got the same issue Tinker mentiioned about the Witchalok Pendant, but this time with the Balanced Dagger. After mousing over the Balanced Dagger icon in my backpack then moving my mouse cursor away, its icon turned into the one for the Poisoned Dagger. Screenshot:

EDIT 2: Have more bugs!
- Out of curiosity, I started a new kingdom on the test build, which is still at the three easy goat boss dungeon stage. When I go to the menu/codex, all the codex entries of my main kingdom are available there as well.
-This is probably inevitable, since it involves messing with different versions of the game, but worth reporting just in case anyway: I went and launched my regular steam version (again out of a tester's curiosity), and after syncing it with the cloud (it did so automatically, didn't ask if I wanted to keep local files instead; this could very well be intended behaviour as well), my codex listed 20 classes on the class tab. If I select the Classes tab, the game just crashes to desktop. I haven't played around with my regular version any more than that, but it might be good to avoid playing on the released build if you've already been playing on the test build. Just in case
