So I just popped in to look at the leaderboard, and Astral is currently in-progress. Will be checking back regularly to look for the triple digits!

Haven't had a lot of time to check the forums lately, but today's one was my 100th win so I stopped by.
I'm really happy to have reached a 3 digit streak without any screwups.

Today's DERP was a really kind daily for me. Love the map and Gorgon is one of my fave classes to boot. I played very slowly though, with EM, Dracul and TT there were too many fun boons on the table and it got me distracted how to get them all. After the early vineforms and greenbloods, lots of resists, some dodging and extra poisonstrike made a really powerful build. I totally mismanaged my blackspace due to plant induced wall-generation, still had enough to regenfight Evolvia then ding down Aeq.

This run weren't derp free on my part, when I was converting stuff left and right I also dithched the amulet in the sub and found out too late it's not the Spider Amulet :D

It's quite surprising to finish 18th on time with a 40+ minute run, I see it was a weeding run.

Btw congrats for Tinker and Darvin for the 3 digit total wins! Fall_ark gets there soon too.
Somebody spilled raspberry juice all over the place!

I seem to be the only one winning who prepped Mystera in the 2nd slot. I didn't regret it though, despite many magic-using monsters the combination of poison melee damage plus lots of fireballs allowed me good leveling kills. Didn't bother mopping up, because there was no DP and I felt very vulnerable among all those nasty walls and monsters, so I just clicked exit as soon as the bosses fell. Oddity is that time is actually my best ranked metric today, go figure... :)

Aaaand there goes my streak. Stuck between a wall and 2 statues. I still wonder what compelled me to convert ENDISWAL; it's been ages since I've lost a run in such a dumb way.

Congrats Astral btw!

My rule number one of the Gorgon is: I never EVER* convert ENDISWAL. I start the game by moving it to my last inventory slot, and then pretend that I prepped JJ, and have one fewer slots. I will leave the dungeon with ENDISWAL still in the inventory. Sure it's 100 cp... and a mana restore if under Mystera... but it's just not worth the risk to lose it.

*Only exception is when serving Binlor; once I get his free ENDISWAL, I convert my 100-cp one an pick up the free ENDISWAL instead. And then I cling onto that one instead.

I might convert ENDISWAL if literally only one boss is left to kill, especially if it's a tanky boss who might eat an extra Deathgaze or two off of the CP bonus. But otherwise, yeah. I would need to have almost no blackspace left in the main dungeon to even think about it.

22/06/15 - Gnome Priest in Rock Garden
Well, this was an easy one so I decided to go for Hoarder/Parched/Unstoppable. I was gunna try for Faithless too, but then I found Jehora mere steps into the dungeon and couldn't resist. Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking and I converted the 0 CP WEYTWUT from Jehora to make room for the Vampiric Blade and blew my badge. I didn't even need the item, I had so many resources (including the untapped potential of converting into Tikki Tooki for reflex/quicksilver) that the extra healing was completely unnecessary.

Vampiric Blade and Blue Bead both in the shop pool with heavy popcorn was nice. I used my Balanced Dagger all of once, and was glad for it since it maximized popcorn availability.

Gnome Priest is almost zero synergy, but Rock Garden is usually a safe win. We'll see how it goes.

The shop pool, glyph pool, and default deity loadout is incredibly generous. You don't even need class features or racial bonus here. There are also plenty of high-level wraiths for power-leveling if you take the crystal ball.
