That could've been a lot harder. My practice run was a close call by comparison, but I blame that on Frank the Zombie.

Between preps and drops, there were health boosters, Fire Heart, Crystal Ball, Bear Mace, Keg of Mana, Jehora, and Pactmaker. Really good all around. CYDSTEP was welcome, but not needed. LEMMISI dropping really early meant that I could actually use it before sending it off, which is pretty novel.

First of all, I didn't prep any altars because the penalties are too harsh (except for Binlor, but he's a no-show). Pactmaker+JJ makes 2x health boost and 2x mana boost achievable, so I did that. Combine that with Fire Heart and Crystal Ball, and you are ready to start wailing on the bosses. Unfortunately, no PISORF. If you corrode one boss, you should probably fireball the other one, because the one you're actually attacking directly is taking 2x the damage... Unless you are ok with tanking hits from the other boss, too.

For piety, just make sure to spam WEYTWUT for piety except for when you're fireballing within kill range. High-level meat men, goblins, gorgons, and goo blobs leave you with a pretty long space to spam WEYTWUT before you can score a kill.

The secret subdungeon is pretty good, even if it is just conversion fodder.

Bear Mace and Mage Plate were two really good preps, and I was able to get rolling pretty earlier. Looking back I feel really stupid for carrying around the other Bear Mace from the secret dungeon but it was just too comically awesome for me to actually realize how useless that is on a rat. I got some serious momentum going very early, was building resists with Pactmaker and had a Dracul on the board to utilize... then I clicked myself to death on a blob for no reason. Great work.

@Fallark

JJ is pretty stupendous on Rats. Big bars for health restore off shop purchases and being able to hit the boss, conversions also grant you mana and the low damage and love of knockback makes you really good at generating JJ piety through 'peekaboo' antics. Also Weytwut lets you position bosses next to each other for Knockback cheddar.

I knew I was in way over my head when this one came up. "Rat Monarch"?? How do you kill something when you do zero damage???
Obviously need to be learn more about corrosion. I did get up to level 5 or 6.
Bad start. Burndarayz was on the opposite side of the map and I got poisoned early.
I had a chance to experiment with the Bear Mace and lining up monsters to damage two at once.
Ultimately I died on a weird glitch. I was fighting a meat man, hit him once and then went to fireball him. I was very careful and made sure I saw the fire trail moving on the screen before I clicked on him. As soon as I did..BAM and I was dead.
Wasn't too sad about it as I had no idea how to play the rest of the level. I worshiped JJ early. I really hate JJ. All those random negative effects. Not sure what I'm missing...others seems to love him.
Once I start winning a lot in a game I usually get bored an quit playing.
I don't see that happening anytime soon...if ever. :-)
