Goblin Thief, Cursed Oasis

Wow, bad click. That sucked. I was just clicking some level 1's, and it was like Goblin syndrome, only it was the Death Protection that did it. I was going uncharacteristically fast compared to how I usually play. Yikes.

Was really looking forward to going Lord of the Dings on this one... +/- Glyphs, Goblin, and JJ.

It wasn't a huge streak, but I was at like 12 or something, the longest since I hit #2. Really shouldn't have happened. Just wow.

I did something similar less than a week ago, so I know how it feels

Edit: so, just straightforward spiking here. There's little in the way of glyphs to help out against the final boss, but more than enough resources to plough through by sheer force. I actually ended up spending my mana on WEYTWUT/BURNDAYRAZ for 14 mana fireballs against him. I could have gotten Hoarder if I'd managed by inventory better, but oh well I guess I'll have to settle for unstoppable with a good time.

Ugh.

Try not to worship Earthmother, kill Curse Shade with enough resource left so that you ask for several boons in the cursed realm, clean up the Shades using IMAWAL XP boost, and only realize that the curse-proof Dragon Soul is now under a statue while you're fighting the Curse Dragon. 'Cos that'll be the stupidiest non-death ever.

At least ENDISWAL spawns...

Did my nerd CP-thing to account for the Thief's Opportunist ability:

Base: (5*1.33=)6*100=600 cp
Fewer Glyphs: ( (5-1=)4*1.33=)5*150=750 cp
More Glyphs: ( (5+1=)6*1.33=)8*80=640 cp
Fewer+More Glyphs: ( (5+1-1=)5*1.33=)6*130= 780 cp

Anyway, I picked only "More Glyphs" in the end, because I absolutely *had* to go GG today. I have this thing with GG and Thieves; and then also with GG and Goblins; so I just cannot imagine a Goblin Thief worshipping any other deity. (Mystera and JJ were both close calls, though... ). Plus, I hoped to get some utility glyps to open the secret sub / help in fighting the Cursed Dragon, and it worked out nicely. Slowpoke play today, but at least topped XP chart! I played very carefully, and tried really hard not to run out of resources, but I went a bit over the top with it, because after the dragon went down, I still had 3 more level-ups banked...

Prep: pers badge, + and - glyphs, burnydiraz. I was tempt to choose JJ, but i don't like having one item slot less, luckily the Jadetooth potion, it's a lesser version of Chaos Avatar.
Anyway, Eartmother (slow boon) + Immawal + goblin let me level up really faster. Wonafyt was specially good in curse realm, because today were many low level shadows.
At the end i just bought the flaming sword for the boss fight (both bosses), i used the Jadetooth potion vs Shadow boss, and i level up twice vs Drake boss and got feeling parched badge.

Wow, I can't even win at the forum now! Wrote an entry, clicked Submit, and it blanked out my entry.
Who knew there was Submit Retaliation here?!?
Not going to try to remember what I wrote. I did have one question: How cursed do you allow yourself to become when playing the Oasis? I went from 0 to 4 curses with a two shot kill and couldn't recover.

Back up to 8. Grabbed unstoppable today instead of doing anything clever. Very nice setup for a Goblin Thief, especially with Imawal. The inventory management was the only pain for me.
