Playing a rat without bear mace or Binlor is really tough as having knockback is a significant boost to damage. I went into Dracul later in the game because Taurog or GG would make the rat's already bad inventory problems worse. Almost all resources were used up to win, including all blackspace, bloodpools and health potions.

Well, that wasn't bad for a Rat run. Balanced Dagger, a good shop pool with Quest Items (Gloves of Midas and Hero's Helm right at the start for easy leveling!), lots of gold from boss trophies, and even a favorable subdungeon. I forgot that PISORF doesn't work against the magic-immune boss and had to quickly change my plans to go after the physical-immune one first (which sucked because I'd converted BLUDTUPOWA) but this hiccup didn't stop me from clearing the dungeon fairly easily.

Oh man...my second Rat run. I have to say, I felt I did well...no stupid mistakes. I think my prep choices are what did me in, though. I had the balanced dagger and that certainly helped. I probably should have gone elite items to get some more useful gear.

I could only get my rat up to level 8 with 13 corrosion and then there was nothing left that was killable. I also probably should have gone with Drac sooner...but it was a gamble I wasn't going to take in case all the hidden monsters were undead...which they always seem to be as soon as I worship Drac!

Definitely one of the more challenging dungeons as of late.

Messed that one up hideously, my plan to corrode stuff and knock it into the magic res enemy was not the brightest and I ended up going GG rat when either of my other options would've probably served better.
