Halfling Monk, Creeplight Ruins

Never have I regretted not taking Flame Magnet any more than I have today. BURNDAYRAZ was hiding on the very last tile I uncovered. My leveling was horrid without it and there just really wasn't much I could do as a monk. Made a decent run at the boss but fell short.

With the exception of a handful of classes that don't need the magnet, Yendor is just about the only prep I'd take over flame magnet. The reliability is just so useful in the context of a daily.

Ugh, I chose the Transmutation Scroll but kept it until killing the boss while staring at the secret subdungeon wall....how?

FYI that's, like, the best way to make this run super easy. I ended up taking Chaos Avatar early and using almost all Mana potions instead of having a casual Parched run. Would recommend Transmutation Scroll.

Monk with BLUDTOPOWA was a lot like a Chemist in Mana Form. So weird. It's too bad that you can't prep the glyph or get it from Drac or anything like that.

Anyway, plenty of tools for the bosses, but blackspace runs thin as usual. Earthmother picks up a lot of the mana burden for Form 3 and the Vine Form + corrosion is useful for Form 2. Form 1 I did mostly with BLUDTOPOWA fireballs, but I lost blackspace over it. I blew my level up on Form 2. Pretty clean run, some potions left over, but no Parched. Probably could've been cleaner still. Maybe if I'd squeezed in a Refreshment and milked Stone Sigil a little more I could've gotten an easy Parched, but meh.

Totally paranoid about misclicks today, if anyone is wondering about my sub-par time. Overall not bad; Mystera Monk with BLUDTUPOWA is a nice combo. With the piety boost of stone sigil and the lack of magic-damage monsters on today's layout, Mystera was just oozing piety so I got some weakning off on form 2 and beat through him without too much difficulty.
