In addition to No EXP enemies, fireball should not kill your momentum.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

The problem with having fireballs not stop momentum is that it makes it possible to sustain a 100% boost throughout the entire dungeon, just fireball each monster until you can one-shot it. You're basically a spellcaster Rogue with (almost) double the damage bonus, which is a very powerful combination (no first strike but you have extra HP and only need to take one hit). And since Crusaders have the option of getting mana burn immunity, there's little harm in attacking a boss before you use your fireballs. I do agree on zero XP monsters not counting. Reduce resist immunity and death gaze immunity would both be quite helpful additions that shouldn't cause any balance problems, either.

How would you learn Death Gaze immunity? Dying directly would profe difficult :P
Don't know if its worth it to waste a Death Protection simply to learn it. You'd have to be sure that it is your first infliction so I guess you'd have to use the death protection badge and then go all out on a gorgon you could kill anyway?
It's still useful to add it, but sounds rather complicated to achieve it.

Given that the current strength level of the Crusader, I'd rather his "scarred" class feature grant him one immunity per level, so you could have all four immunities by level 4 if you planned it out. I don't think death gaze should be a valid immunity and I'm on the fence over resist down.

Make the blacksmith sword prep a small item. It's really just an oversized spoon and it's very weak in comparison to the +10% attack badge.

Two thoughts for JJ:

1) Make Petition cheaper and repeatable, but have it only reduce the chance of punishment, not eliminate it. Each additional Petition reduces the chance further.
2) Make Petition cheaper and repeatable, but have it only protect you for a while. Maybe it blocks the next punishments, but then it wears off.

I think Bandits would be more interesting if they could drop you to negative resists, but the effect wears off. So maybe, if you get hit by a standard Bandit, you lose 15% resists, then get back 3% per hit on the next 5 hits you take. Tomithy would drop you very negative, but you'd recover 20% per hit for the next 5 hits. This way, they don't ruin resist classes so much, and other classes don't consider them a total joke.

So true. How about just making it a giant spoon, for amusement sakes?

I suppose you have a point about momentum though.

As for Scarred, that seems a bit on the strong side, but you have to get the affliction to get the immunity.

Tomothy should be 25%, and it should wear off 5% every hit.

Blacksmith Sword Prep - Small item, make it a big iron oatmeal spoon, or a laddle. :)

Blackmith Shield prep as well? Make it a buckler?
I almost got pwned by Shifty Brickwork!
