Beware Windows 10 upgrade messages.

Isn't it nice how Microsoft feels they have the right to invade your computer and run an application without your consent that tries to get you to upgrade to Windows 10? It is annoying, but as I just discovered, it could cause you to lose the daily on DD.

I won today's daily and got the summary screen and went to click on Leaderboard but nothing happened. I then clicked the button beside it, without looking. It usually says "Continue" but today it said "Upload". I clicked it a couple times and still nothing happened.

My brain finally woke up and said "Whoa, this puppy hasn't officially saved yet". Good thing I had the extra coffee this morning!

Realizing it was a network connectivity issue, I checked my other laptop and it was connecting to the internet fine. That's when I looked at what else was running and there in the task bar was that damn Microsoft invasion.

I closed that down, went back to my DD screen, et voila! The Leaderboard button was there and everything worked just fine.

So, moral of this story (two actually):
1. Microsoft are jerks.
2. If you are having issues synching your win, check for a Windows icon on your task bar and shut that down.

Transmuter... I never feel like I'm living up to the potential. I made it ok because it was Berserker's Bridge, but I used most of my potions on Aequitas. Luckily I was able to buy Soul Orb, which made it easier to convert into Mystera with my Platemail prep. Platemail just felt like it would be fun on a Dwarf with bonus CP...

Wasn't in the mood for anything exerting, so I took advantage of the easy map and superb preps to play a nice and relaxed Transmuter run. Straight Mystera (watch out for all the magic user monsters - Trolls don't look like it but actually are), no shenanigans. Preps were so good that I pretty much went light with the shopping (though I couldn't just leave the Mage Plate there, now, could I? ).

If we'd ever want to list the top3 strongest classes in DD, the only thing I know for sure is that the Transmuter would be one of the three. I'm not sure about the other two, I keep changing my mind about them, but never about the Transmuter...

Count Blah Blah and a bunch of vampires? This looks like a job for Super Paladin!

Holy Healing, Die Fledermaus Man! What a weird dungeon. I prepped the Battle Mage ring and then converted it without ever using it because I couldn't find Burndarayz. I never even picked up Burndarayz when I did find it as I was doing so well with the Bear Mace just bashing things through walls and then healing. The extra mana preps really paid off.

And for the first time ever, I had more piety than I knew what to do with. I didn't prep any gods but found JJ early and said "why not"? I soon had 100 piety and had to take Chaos Avatar at level 6 because I had no potions. All slots were holding other items.

After that it was just health and mana boosts everywhere. Ended up with about 180 HP and more mana than I could use.

Finally found the secret dungeon after almost everything was dead, buried three layers deep in the top left glacier. Had one level 7 monster left that I bashed through the wall to reach it.

So many badges today and so much fun.
