Preps were: Taurog, venom dagger, extra attack boosters, perseverance badge, compression seal, Patches, extra apothecaries, Whupaz, health potion and the 2 anti debuff potions.
I started out with converting glyphs, manapotions and CP fodder to boost my base damage to silly levels. First item I took was the shield and it helped me greatly in getting Cheeky. As soon as I could I scouted my 1st sub, it had EM and a visible Ritual Scroll. Used it, and went back to level. My char was so strong I efficiently regenefought 3 level higher goos, and was able to brawl 2 level higher snakes.
At level 7 I ran into a shop selling the Poison Ward! It sealed the deal on keeping Patches till the end. My piety was racking up nicely, and I took all the Taurog items as soon as possible for the bonus attack, though I had to keep the helm on the ground to keep my inventory open.
The 1st sub was a breeze, the 2nd quite annoying. It was a revealed Taurog cave with an added Bridge Troll. To illustrate how strong my Monk was, I regenfought the lvl 9 troll while only being lvl 8. To save blackspace, after buying another CP fodder I picked up the Helm and killed a Warlock with Unstoppable Fury. My piety was overflowing so it was a good decision.
The 3rd sub had MA, and by now I reached level 10. It's only important, since onward my base damage kept on decreasing with each ding thanks to the stupid prestige bug. To maintain my damage I had to keep converting stuff I found , and Patches was a great help too, with his 5% attack boosts. He was a real troll by the way, giving me 4 max mana in the early game and wasting quite some tiles. He only gave 8% resistances within 13 dings, but served me well with 25% attack.
Regular monsters went down easy in each sub, most died to brawling even

Goos and dragonspawns required regenfighting, my 100+ damage and venom dagger made it trivial. Warlocks and Wraiths always needed tricks (dings/Unstoppable Furies), the former became barely regnfightable after getting some MR.
My altar luck was horrible. The 1st semi useful god was GG in sub 5, and I only considered him for a one-time prestige bypass via humility. 6th was Binlor, but this late I did not want to get locked into him with no ways to convert out in time. Finally found Dracul in sub 7, and converted in with max piety. No more undeads were on the main floor and I held onto my health potions for this occasion. Grabbed a few sanguine to fix my base damage and the new MR made all monsters managable. The Dracul sub had the Golden Armor, and since I still haven't seen the illusion yet I had to continue with the weakenings I picked up.
Or that's what I thought. If asked myself why am I missing the fortitude tonic, I would have realized that I've already faced it. At the very least I got to remove all the weakenings after the debuff floor.
Next two subs had TT and Pactmaker. I guess it's true, Pm is an elusive god

By this point no monster was challenging, and I only cared about clearing subs with most blackspace saved. After the 9th sub I finally converted Patches, to make sure he doesn't waste any of my blackspace when I pull off a ding vs Horatio.
My plan for the big fight was dringing bloodpools and keep hitting the goat till I run out of them, at which point I pull the ding and switch to regenfighting. If I wanted to I could convert the dagger and even join GG.
But just for kicks, when I was at 100 piety and 20% sanguine I went to TT for 30 additional gold and some nice dodging, gained the piety by slaying the popcorn and picking up sparkles. My final destination was Binlor for the Stone Form, and I bought a last minute Dwarven Gauntlet on the loot.
This is what my Monk has become:

I still had so many bloodpools that I killed Horatio before getting to the regenfight part. If not for the prestige bug, I could have crossed 160 damage

Somewhere I should mention how amazing of a god Taurog is. He is so awesome for not putting the cowardly trait on monsters in subs. It helped me greatly in saving up black tiles, no wonder I ended up with close to 100.
