Well... Good news is that from the base assortment... you have one very good Gnome-friendly altar (and two somewhat not so good I guess?). I went a bit aggressive with the early leveling, the downside of that was that I completely ran out of steam towards the end of the mop-up. I blame everything on my attempt to make some use of IMAWAL, I should just stick to auto-converting the glyph like I used to, works much better for me... :P

Had I managed my resources a bit better, I think an additional 70 or so XP could have been possible, by postponing Chaos Avatar to a later prestige level, and by killing the monsters I simply could not kill (and slowing the ones I did kill but had no mana left to slow) in the end. Anyway, fun run, hope people enjoy it! ;)

I tried something different today as well. I went with Taurog as my deity. I almost never choose Taurog as I like magic friendly builds.

Anyway, it turned out great. Killed the Indomitable with almost no effort and leveled up to 8 doing it. Then I just used life protection to beat the Snake boss to death.

Wouldn't want Taurog every day, but it worked on this map.

Big lessons learnt from today's daily:

1. Don't be greedy or at least do your math first before attempting something dangerous.
2. Choosing surrender from the menu after you have killed the bosses does count as a qualified completion
(Thank god!)

I went to do the Zombie gold sub at level 9 and fell short of 2 hits for the last Zombie, had to surrender but luckily that counts as a win since I have already killed both bosses. I could have "prepared" better since there were still lower level mobs I could kill on the top, and I was just short of 1 XP for a ding after the 4th Zombie killed (so I could have avoided this potential "loss", would be a loss in a normal game).

Even without the loss, I probably could only reach somewhere close to 300 XP (a bit more or less). There was CA I could use to hit 275, and several high level Illusions on the top and some lower level mobs left.

Dwarven Tinker, Cursed Oasis

Hmm... do I want to prep Dwarven Gauntlets or Troll Heart? :P

This was one of the easier times I've had on CO.

So many full restores. Yendor is available with Elite Items (and, in case you already spent your translocation on Zot, there are Gloves of Midas), Jadetooth is the subdungeon, and Jehora Jeheyu is preppable. I had a nice leisurely run and even decided to clean up the remaining monsters afterwards so I'm surprised that I currently hold top time, but I suppose this daily is still young and many of the other speed-runners have yet to play.

Made this run way harder than it had to be. Made two stupid mistakes in that I ended up IAMAWALing off the only potion shop which I really coulda used to clear off the corrosion stacks from getting early martyr wraps and desecrating EM. I'd also already converted ENDISWAL by this point.

I also went and killed the very last non-boss enemy to get a post level 10 levelup, but forgot that CO applies curse stacks, even if you kill the cursed shade, so I was stuck fighting the cursed dragon without my 9 DR and 15% phys resist from Taurog items.

Fortunately my desecrate happy play paid off and a massive HP pool, 100+ attack, and Taurog death protections covered for my silly mistakes.
