Vampire, Shifting Passages

Played miserably, and ended up trapped behind the second boss. There's no WEYTWUT or ENDISWALL unless it was on the couple tiles that were black, didn't check on the death. Having to focus on using Vampire, a class I'm not really good at, leaves less mental room for remembering to deal with the forming walls.

Second boss is Aequitas, so if you prep the Bear Mace you won't have enough HP to survive him, but if you don't prep the Bear Mace then you risk getting trapped. Fortunately there's a Crystal Ball in the shop pool to give you that extra edge to bring down Aequitas. Very tricky dungeon today, and I highly recommend treading carefully! It didn't help that all the level 2's were hiding so I had to explore a huge amount of the dungeon before I got moving.

There's quite a lot of potions available to help with this one. With a couple of fat bloodcows, bloodpools, some popcorn, and the Dragon Shield I was able to tank hits from Aequitas at level 9, though I could have just relied on burning. The Bear Mace helps clean up some walls, but I think the main thing is to concentrate on not making walls appear. Also, get the gorgons out of the way early so you don't try to drain blood at a critical time just to end up being petrified.

That was tense. Judging from the leaderboard for today's daily, XP gained and times used to complete the dungeon were very similar, so I guess everyone was taking the run slow and carefully. Dragon Shield and the large number of potions available made it a bit more bearable.
