Thanks Schachter and Lujo :D

Be careful with the collar caviar! Goats can't desecreate, it's only good for CP!
And yes, this is the most fun class to play VGT with :)

No probs. Yeah, I've done that mistake before :P
And if you didn't know already, goats can take consensus whenever they want at least in that regards they work like any other class. If you need something similar to indulgences for the end, this is really helpful.

Sad to hear you lost, but I'm sure you'll win soon. It's not that hard.

First of all Agnostic Collar, then the rest were things for the purist run I didn't take back yet. Health Pendant, Battlemage Ring, Mage Plate, Fire Heart.

Before vetoing AC, Stone Sigil was in it's place, but that's pretty ok for a goat.

There we go!

I don't really have much to say, except reiterating what Astral has said. It's not as bad as it seems at first sight, in fact I agree on that Purist requires more raw luck. Thanks again for doing it, Astral, else I wouldn't even have dared to try it in a good while.

I didn't bother relockering before attempting the run (pretty stupid looking back, as I had both martyr wraps and the piercing wand in there). Really goes to show how it's not that tough if you just set your mind to it.

In before the dam breaks (or maybe even during, actually), similarly to when waldo first beat VT VGT after it staying untouched and regarded as impossible... It's amazing what a pinch of hope and encouragement can do. :D

Wonderful!
Welcome in the club :D

I can totally agree with you on the power of encouragement, before seeing a video of Lujo pulling a lvl1 bosskill, I wrote off such things as luck based/scumming reliant. Now I have strats that crunch VT runs too.

I haven't actually yet done it(or unlocked the goat, or even done the triple quests - ever O.O), been saving them for later, but I totaly agree on having the knowledge that something can be done totally helps you in doing it. You know the solutions are there and you look for them more actively :)

I'm also totally glad it was the GG in VGT experience which lead to this - it's way less algorhtymic and kina opens a player up to the idea of there actually being leeway and opportunities in VGT. Shows you that you can go pretty far before you assmble ye olde resistance stackery set. So once you got a bit of that under your belt it becomess less about scoring a particular objective under any cost, and more about playing the current situation whatever it is. So I'm overjoyed to hear that the Goat run is actually not a "you HAVE to X or Y by point N which is like right away" exploity kind of deal rather than what Astral described :)

It'll take me a long while before I'm able to do it though, I've played very little goat overall, and VGT is all about practice and familiarity, but I'm very glad to hear it's doable in the way I like approaching the place :)

Also, did you just break the cap on bragging? Is this the peak of Nerd Mountain? Is pulling of a tricky VT or a screwy PQI still worth posting here? Been wondering about that in regards to the latest runs in the blog thread.
