Prepped Balanced Dagger, Fine Sword, and quickly found GETINDARE were very nice especially when you start in TT (Third god were Pactmaker).

At level 3 I had scary moments with starvation. I actually considered gambling with my 55% dodge on one enemy to kill it (needed to dodge 1 hit out of 2). Instead I decided to gamble that I find something killable. I had to convert one glyph so I could explore more, but it paid of.

Rest of the map was pretty easy. I didn't even need Blood Tithe to kill the bosses.

First time ever with the Goatperson (read info from wiki, don't own DLC). Twice (or more times) thought that I already lost. Surprisingly after the last boss I was left with some resources available. Also took Dracul for the first pick. Judging by the leaderboard it was not very common decision.

Other than my slip-up yesterday, I haven't found the last week particularly hard... quite a few warlords recently (and I'm not really that good with them).

Today's goat run wasn't bad either. A bit tighter on food than some runs (but not as bad as others). I did voluntarily take some damage to explore a bit without food cost. It wasn't like I was really hurting for HP/MP (I ended with Hoarder), which was largely thanks to Dracul with Tikki Tooki in for the assist with a better than expected number of dodges against bosses.

* GoatPerson in The Labyrinth *

2 Goat dailies back to back, the new one is actually pretty tricky or difficult. Would have lost right from the start if not for Yendor prep - starting in TT when you don't have any other way to save yourself from his punishment is actually pretty bad. To be honest though, with the Endiswal glyph close at the start, I was able to reach his altar to grab some piety first but I decided to just use Yendor.

Other default altars are EM and PM. Second boss is Tomithy, at least this is good news, just keep some potions to cure off the bad statuses that he inflicts.

Not the most salubrious day to run one's first ever DERP - especially as I'd never tried Goatperson before.

At least the stress of maintaining a perfect record won't materialize starting 0-1!

Yendor really helps with food, and today was much tighter than yesterday... Labyrinth is pretty bad for goat exploration because you really want to be able to reveal nothing but empty squares that might contain monsters when you're low on food, and there's walls everywhere (often you're spending 3 food for 1 chance at a monster). Also helping for food today was Earthmother and TT, both providing extra XP for popcorn, so there was more than enough bonus for even us non-power players to level way up without stretching for big kills (IMAWAL is a bit of a trap as you don't need here it for XP or for piety with Earthmother... using it on food could starve you, and using it on plants could trap you). So not to different than yesterday with the balanced dagger.

Still it wasn't a bad run again... I would have gotten Hoarder again if I hadn't converted the Sigil (so I managed both bosses without a goat fill-up... but I would have had to use at least one if I had bothered to clean up the rest, which I did do yesterday). Poor Tomithy... never got to hit me (thanks TT for the 2 sets of potions before I leveled back into Earthmother), unlike Rex that got to do that once (before he became unreasonable).
