Top XP for yesterday's daily, all thanks to EM. Too little mana to break the statues of killed monsters, and I wasn't really paying much attention towards the end.

Today's daily is an easy one too: Hafling Fighter in Cursed Oasis

Gods are good: Dracul, EM, Taurog -> Went mono-EM and only started worshipping her when killing the Cursed Shade boss below.

When I go mono-EM in the Oasis, I skip the midboss. But I didn't find the altar until after I had killed the shade (well I uncovered it during clean up for that fight in the cursed realm, so I didn't know who it was until after). So I just stuck with Taurog, and bought out the equipment set and a couple of death protections. I could have probably skipped the midboss anyways... I had a lot of popcorn. I had planed to switch out to Dracul, but since this was such a smooth run in the Oasis, it was hardly necessary.

I too didn't find EM until very late. Went Taurog early and just hacked away which was great combined with +7 base attack in dungeon preps and finding some early attack boosters. (if only I were human instead of halfling...)

I knew I wouldn't get too much mileage out of Taurog's resist equipment because I was expecting to be perma-cursed so I just wiped the board of all the undead I could find before ending up in Dracul. Just worked with Sanguine to kill all the bosses, using EM as a late game desecrate target for some piety and indulgences for some potion uses.

The difference between being able to 2 strike and 1.5 strike is the ability to regen fight higher level enemies.

I managed to control my curse level in the Oasis quite well this time (in fact I slipped up once and accidentally kicked myself OUT of the cursed realm for a change). Still I didn't buy more than Skullpicker until after I was done with the cursed realm and picked up the Dragon Soul. I could have switched at that point, but I looked at how well I was already doing against the dragon, and realized that another 45% damage plus the resist and damage reduction was way more than enough.

I think I'm going to sleep on this one... I'm too tired to do regen fighting in that mess again right now.
