* Goatperson in the Northern Desert *

Well that ended quickly for me, kind of gave up from wandering too much, noting to self to buy the DLC. The first daily I played with the Goat went great, this time I maybe forgot about his food mechanic. Good preps for mages, though.

Couldn't find anything to kill

I suffered a lot at the start today and used up a lot of resources just to kill the level 3 wraith at the start because I couldn't find enough low level monsters at all. I got to level 3 and then couldn't find anything lower than 5 to kill, and died exploring.

Pretty rough daily.

Lost, just as expected. I wasn't paying attention to the secret sub position and that could have helped made this a win.

Still, I would say luck played a part because I went all the way right from the start so if I had explored upwards instead, could have seen the secret sub earlier and not have lost.


So, that's like my first Northern Desert and second GoatPerson dailies loss.

I'm generally pretty terrible with the Goatperson, but I got lucky finding ENDISWALL and the secret dungeon early. Even with a 'pantry' of 8 level 1 monsters I still got low on food a couple of times with that layout, so not surprised the daily caused a lot of trouble.

Today was a nice change of pace with a much more straightforward set-up. I took the chance to get lots of damaging items and just go with a hard-hitting orc bloodmage tank.
