And today is:

* Dwarf Fighter in Doubledoom *

What's tomorrow? Human Thief in Doubledoom?

Well, apparently not.

* Orc Transmuter in the Cursed Oasis *

I managed to get some really great timing on the Spirit Sword today. At one point I had 72 conversion points, and three spells that would just get a monster into range of spirit sword. Then for the Cursed Dragon, I converted a glyph for a spirit sword which got the total to 158 (78 after conversion)... casting a spell got me a second one which finished him off.

Yesterday was

* Someone in the Magma Mines? *

The preps were great. There were probably default altars and glyphs. I'm sure they were wonderful. I don't know what they were because I had the connection bug which resulted in me getting in that state of not being able to start the daily, but the server thinking I was playing it (so I couldn't even try later). So I got an unfinished and my combo broke.

Today was:
* Gorgon in Eastern Dungeon *

Very easy run with Yendor in the preps.

I went full stupid and took the Earthmother prep AND worshipped her at the start. I was hoping someone else made that error, but nobody else did....

I used aaaaaaaaaaaaaall my piety (300) on Clearances and Entanglements (one for the win, too). Also had to generate a lot of piety from Petrify....even needed mana potions.
I also had to buy a Burn Salve for an extremely obvious reason. 1/10, would not recommend.

@Probag: Hi, it's nice to see new people here, :)

EM on a map like this... is still manageable, granted it's pretty congested but still it's not the worst map for such a situation.

Believe me I have done the same thing, starting in EM in a much worse place, yeah Ick Swamp, and still managed to win the daily. It's not the best experience but I somehow managed to pull through. Other notable maps that screams no EM start are like Havendale Bridge, Berserker Camp, The Labyrinth, Shifting Passages, and probably some others. Can't remember but I might have attempted the above, well Havendale Bridge at least.

But, you are right in the sense that it's best not to do such a thing, well at least if you value your daily streaks, :)

Pretty basic one today - went badge collecting - made faithless, purist, miser, hoarder, specialist and barely missed out on Parched.

Yes, it is useful to make sure what daily you're talking about.

* Vampire in the Cursed Oasis *

I was somewhat split between More Glyphs and Quest Items. Vampires are limited as casters because of exhaustion. It was tempting to not take the hit on conversion points and instead plan on going heavy melee with a better chance of getting some of the good Quest Item conversion fodder. As it was I didn't have any problem getting to life drain three early and five not long after for the bosses even with More Glyphs... and my shops were plenty good enough.

What is up with these monsters? 4th monster run in a row.

*Half-Dragon in the Western Jungle*

Unlike the previous runs this is very easy. I just couldn't resist having some fun with it.

Victory Screen.
