How do you get/handle GG's piety?

If you prep him, he becomes VERY stingy. To the point that it might be hard to get enough piety for a Humility at L2.
Converting out also becomes an issue.

Also, if you prep him there is a smaller chance of getting Binlor/JJ.

In the last daily on an unprepped GG, I had like 2 or 3 rows of beads

I just checked, and you are right, some sparkles (although another god spawned right at the start, lucky) and 1 conversion was enough for 2 Absolutions and Humility. At L6 or so I had enough piety to convert out.

He is a bit restrictive though: you cannot use poison/B2P for the first 6 levels. For casters, B2P is huge.

The way I see it, if you're worshiping prepped GG at level 1 you're doing it wrong. When I prep GG, I always find a different god to worship first because prepped GG's piety is so neutered. Depending on what god I get, I swap into GG early or late game (Binlor or Mystera -> early, others -> later). You can then buy out the shops or smash an altar to get a lot of piety, and even convert the potions that are irrelevant to you. Also learning to finish kills when they're burning is important for prepped GG, since they are an easy source of piety. So is remembering to take poison/manaburn before leveling.

To be honest, I was expecting some crazy stories how GG saved Haakon's runs multiple times, and now he preps him religiously

Yeah, I agree that I will always prep JJ over anyone else. I even like him better than Binlor in Labyrinth since I typically end up fireballing Rex.

That went very easily for me. I ended at level 9 which is unusually high for Goatperson run. I also got Hoarder badge, which is very rare with Goatperson.
