I decided to test the new transmuter, and to see what's up with te Bride Troll.

I used LEMISSI and conversions to get straight to lvl 7 without killing any monster, and GG's absolution to wipe out the weak monsters. Then I easily killed Zin Kibaru (I got 109 base damage from conversions), but couldn't kill Frank the Zombie because my inventory was filled with beads :|

I couldn't kill the Bridge Troll either, GG wiped it out first.

I don't know what to think about the new Transmuter, he just seems so odd...

OK, I did that strategy prepping bet on boss and GG only. Parched Miser Cheeky Specialist Ding Max Unstoppable. I hit level 5ish and then killed the bridge troll (had a lot of HP) and played pretty normally from there (as goblin you want to leverage the level-ups mid-fight rather than get them all early). Tomithy as second boss, so used level-ups and getindare dodge to flatten him at level 6/7, then used enlightenment (potion conversions as fuel) to get a midfight level or two against Zin Kibaru. Great strategy and synergises really well with the map (sensation stone as well as those magic tokens can be turned into GG fuel) : ) I didn't use any protections at all and I had map space unexplored and didn't use either subdungeon, so there's easily a bit of leeway for a tougher second boss in there.

Orc Transmuter prepping Rock Heart and Binlor is interesting. I don't know how strong it is, but it seems to work for Hard dungeons.

Not to mention that refreshment sort of gives you 40-50 mana from nowhere if you've saved your glyphs. You can do a lot of silly stuff with that kind of mana spike.

Technicaly it's can be directly translated into a string of 4-5 death protections on a warlord, and should be quite stupidly powerfull with him.
I almost got pwned by Shifty Brickwork!
