General-Purpose bragging topic!

Had a few tries with the Goatperson in VGT, and got quite lucky on my first run. Made it all the way to tower 9. With a bit more practice is should be quite doable. I just wish I had saved an image of the summary screen.

@Tinker: Codex Monk works especially well once you have both Soul Orb and Viper Ward. And if you have them both, then Patches won't be a pain anymore except for when it makes you waste precious blackspace.


Update:

Just had an epic run with Human Priest in VGT, got H down to around 600+ HP (didn't win), otherwise I would have screenshot it down. How was it epic?

1. I had no protection from Poison, no Halpmeh, nor Viper Ward. Burnt off all my health potions even before H.
2. When I had 100 piety with Taurog (think it was 3rd or 4th floor), I converted to TT to get Dodging and finish off 5 mobs to go back to Taurog.
3. I survived a 6th floor Pre-explored Binlor level.
4. GG was in 8th floor (had to convert to him for help to finish off mobs) and Dracul was in the 9th floor (Had to use PM to convert to Dracul).
5. I almost made it because I had bought a Vampiric Blade earlier (wanted to skip over GG and was hoping to get Dracul first) and had to convert it off when I converted to GG. Otherwise, the health stolen (especially for the first half of H's HP) would allow me to conserve precious bloodpools (limited to 15% since I took Consensus from PM) for the end. Also, just Lifesteal itself would save HP from each hit plus the "bonus" HP stolen when dodging successfully would have carried me all the way to victory. Nothing else to help during the fight against H except Getindare.


Anyway, in another less dramatic run (had both Viper Ward and Soul Orb, and first floor GG), I managed to complete Priest for VGT, my last class before the final one.

Now, all I need to do is to keep practicing the Rat for the final rainbow. I anticipate tough times ahead...

I got bored of attempting VGT Goat (had another floor 9 run, but with no resources left), so I went in with a Human Wizard. Managed it first try. Dragon Soul and HALPMEH were very useful. I did make a couple of mistakes, but the run didn't go too badly otherwise, in my opinion.
