Estimated release date?

I'm not impatient. I'm just a total cheapskate with my money and like to know when to save up money and how much it should be. Will it be in Q3, Q4, early 2012? Will it at least be in 2011?

We're aiming for 4 months after the beta starts. It's a tall order, but we think we can pull it off. The beta should be running as we hit the end of July - all the systems that we want to test out (and have you guys break in a million different ways, natch) are nearly done and good to go. After that it's pure content and polish. Which is only another 90% of the work all over again

But yes, I want to have DD out before the end of 2011, we all do. I know we're going to be working as hard as possible to make that happen.

Wow, that was a pretty definitive answer. How is QCFDesign doing financially, if you don't mind me asking?

We're doing a lot better than a few months ago, thanks to you guys pre-ordering the game. We were pretty much bankrupt for a while. Now we're in a position where we know we can finish the game and make it as good as we possibly can

I expect the beta will be up in the next week, otherwise they will let us know if they need more time to get it to where they want.

You'll receive an email telling you how to set up your account password, then you'll be able to go to the updated Play page and play the game in your browser.
