you should have a dungeon that makes you go purist

I believe there's already a quest or two to do that. Personally, I don't like Purist because it's so luck-based with regards to finding the right deity and glyphs early or else restarting. With preparations, you don't need a major find early to actually start playing the harder dungeons.
