Elite Items!

I'm gonna give my commentary on the elite items so far:

Keg of Health: Great! (Especially for priests)
Keg of Mana: Even better! In fact I made it my usual cater prep!
Wicked Guitar: I'd always use it mid to late game pretty much!
Alchemist's scroll: Okay, never really used it.
Dwarven Gauntlets: Uhh... Shouldn't it be 2 max hp per level? I did pay 35 gold.
Elven Boots: Great!
Amulet of Yendor: Hmmm... Haven't used it much, but I guess it's okay. Not really sure when to use it.
Orb of Zot: Okay for resistance charcters and casters who find the boss early or if you have extra regen late game, it would be a much better item if you could Scout: Boss.

I suppose you removed terror slice, magicians moonstrike, and berserker blade because they were either too powerful or useless depending on what you were. Here's an idea for them:

Terror slice: -1 hp and 10% damage boost upon leveling.
Magician's Moonstrike: Damage bonus -50% and add 5 max mana
Berserker Blade: -5 max mana and Damage bonus +50%

I dunno, most of my ideas are usually imbalanced and abusable so I'd like feedback to fine tune them.

Wicked Guitar is wicked... if it didn't always crash the game for me <_<

This item is positively awesome for Glowing Guardian worshippers.

With humility active, you're going to be swimming in XP. Can you say "level 11" anyone?

Any tips on when to use Yendor? Also, they need to add back scout: boss to make the orb effective for dungeons like Vicious crypt...

Any tips on the 3 ideas I posted.

At its current cost, I really don't see any use for it except to get one extra level during the boss fight.

Any tips on the 3 ideas I posted.

I think the developers want to move away from overly-specialized items like those. The terror slice just says "I'm using CYDSTEPP", the the Berserker Blade says "I worship Taurog". The magician's moonstrike you've suggested is basically the same idea as the new mageplate.

Their absence, I think, is intentional.

I find it a fairly good preparation on levels like Shifting Sands or the Labyrinth where I tend to get boxed in and unable to reach an adequate level to fight the boss. If you use it early, you jump straight to level 5, which lets you avoid low level monsters or just go crazy with Tikki Tooki.

Also, Alchemist's Scroll has some potential, since it does trigger off Strength potions and such. I think that a Halfling Priest that brought it as a prep and found Tri-sword early (or vice versa) would be be able to do quite a bit of damage.

I have a strategy to beat the crypt with a bloodmage! Bring orb of Zot, grab JJ and find the boss early. Use Fireballs to whittle down the boss's hp once you've used the orb. Grab all wanted JJ boons and grab chaos champion. Then blow away the weakened blah blah with continuous fireballs. A keg of mana helps a bunch!

I already have! Battle Mage Ring is no longer worth it.
