The problem of gaining X and not X% is X is
Lame for taurog but great for Drac and GG

If we want the religious tree to all have at least one religion based ability, sure.

I still don't think the current ability is a fit for the Paladin based off stuff like a story-telling perspective. Shift it to one of the other classes and think of a new one for him.

We sort of adhere to the historical idea of paladins vs the super-chivalrous fantasy trope. Paladins are frenzied zealots who can do no wrong because it's literally impossible for them: Everything is forgiven.

I agree with tigerknee, give the ability to priests, not paladins. Give paladins something else, like 50% undead. (100% seems a bit strong for paladins, being better that the current priest)

Priests would be equally overpowered with Monotheism, perhaps even moreso. 100% health potions with GG's massive HP boosts? Madness. I could maybe see Priests getting a small (+2 or +3) piety boost whenever they quaff a potion; not enough to eliminate the penalty from Dracul or GG, but enough so that the penalty isn't so devastating. Moreso for Dracul, whose penalty is -5 piety, than GG, who takes off 10 piety for each potion, but like I said 100% health potions with GG could quite easily be broken. (Personally, I think that if Monotheism is going to stay, with any class, it'll need to be toned down - probably not zero piety loss, but perhaps limiting all piety loss to -1.)

In terms of their anti-undead ability, it might be worth considering to give Priests a toned down but broader 'slay evil' ability, something like +40% to undead and any monster that poisons or mana burns.

Don't forget weakening and corrosion. Perhaps just getting one half of the piety loss would be much more fair, especially for big piety losses like -10.

Careful, you'll make us give the Priest a Self Flagellating ability: +3 piety for every level of corrosion, weaken or lower resistance.

Hey, as long as JJ will still remove all the corrosion and weakening after I'm done obtaining every single boon from every deity in that dungeon, I'd be cool with that. ;)
