Actually, with the Hp to Attack, Dwarves are VERY powerful and probably better than humans (Since they no longer get obscene damage off the Tri-sword).

For elves, hmm, perhaps a conversion threshold of 60-70.

Elf conversion threshold is already 70.

Main reason elf is great right now is that the ONLY reliable way to raise your MP without negative consequences is blood power. Actually now that Paladins can freely worship Dracul without consequence the elf paladin really doesn't have quite the luster it used to...

I guess dwarf paladin could be a very powerful combo...

Actually I think human, orc, or gnome paladin would be the way to go, since most of your health comes from HALPMEH and not your actual HP. I'd say elf paladin is probably better for glowing guardian, while gnome paladin is better for Dracul. Too bad you don't know which you're gunna get ahead of time...

elf sorcerer can tank like a boss and still dish out a ridiculous amount of damage. Especially if you equip the venom sword.
Hit a bunch of fireballs, land a melee for poison, explore/regen, then come back and do the reverse. Hit first, then fireball for heals, then hit again. As long as you can survive the first hit, he can crush things two to three times his level. He can handle physical resists with his massive magic damage, and he can handle magic resists with his huge healing potential. Halpmeh/Cydstepp/Bysepps/Getindare all let him crush magic resistance, and Burndayraz blazes past physical resists.

Pretty much unmatched versatility with elf imo. Don't have enemy meatmen or other high health tanks to deal with? Gnome for unrivaled boss killing power.
