Urgh. This is the first version I think where I can say I regretted waiting for.

Taurog was buffed, which is good because he was super TERRIBLE, but I'm still not sure if his items are worth it.
TT was buffed in the sense that no one used his potions anyway.
Pactmaker was buffed because... see Taurog.

JJ was buffed but I think he's rather poorly designed overall anyway so shrug.

Just about everyone else took pointless nerfs without compensation (except perhaps Dracul, whose Blood Power is kind of anti-thematic anyway BUT does make spellcasters worse once again).

Why take away the actual good boons of MA and Binlor, two gods that are already widely agreed to have terrible boons without buffing the others? Sanctify gave GG some tactical options for building piety. EM removed a redundant boon but didn't get anything for it (could have just combined the item conversion effect into Vine Form), etc etc.

Yucks, the next version better have monster classes added in or something. This update is terribly unfun.

I know! How about some new content? Come on... A dungeon, at least...
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Geez, guys, remember this is still a beta test; everything is still being tweaked and it's inevitable that there will be weeks when everything is tweaked the wrong way, or where there is no new content at all. This isn't even one of those weeks! Pactmaker has some very interesting abilities, and there are bound to be ways to break him to your will if you try hard enough. :)

Or you can try one of my favorite amusements, seeing how high you can get your damage rating at level 1.

Couple other notes:

Crusaders never get weakening or corrosion immunity from JJ's random afflictions. (They can, however, get poison or mana burn immunity.)

IMO, Taurog is a lot less appealing without Cliffstompers. Unless you can get them at level 1 (and even then, there are better things to have, like Strength Potions), +20% bonus damage is way more useful than +5 base damage.

If Pactmaker altars are going to spawn like any other altar, I think it should be possible to desecrate them. If you don't have a use for any of his pacts, he doesn't serve any purpose; the other gods can at least be potential piety fodder, if you're desperate (well, GG and Mystera excepted). Maybe as a punishment, he could randomly inflict one of his old pacts, except without the piety gains.

Combine CliffStompers with SkullPicker!

+4 damage, +15% base damage (I made up those numbers)

I got the same guitar problem as you!

As for MA, glyph magnet could be an on worship effect. That was really the only reason I ever used her (Rogue, Glyph Magnet, CYDSTEPP or retry) but she is still a weak god. I still think they should remove the double-edge off boons and raise piety costs.

As for TT... Hmm... Gain piety based on gold? Temporary first strike? 5% dodge bonus? A special potion?

Also, got slime pits as an Orc monk with a conversion stone and seal, HALPMEH, and Taurog.

For TT, other than an on-worship effect, what I actually want to see is something along the lines of

1) Gains X piety for every gold picked up from floor.

This gives characters a good reason to convert to him early, rather than waiting for like late game to swap in from another deity, buy Tikki's Edge and then wipe out all the level 1s for mass piety.

Edit: Extra synergy with Thief and Tinker when he finally makes it in!
