I disagree; unless you're playing a level which is littered with status-ailment or physical-resist enemies there is nothing special about the BURNDAYRAZ glyph. I'd much rather have extra chances for different glyphs to better suit my situation than I would to have two BURNDAYRAZ glyphs on the field.
Once you bring preparations into the mix, this is just a straight nerf. While that was fully justifiable for the thief, I don't feel that is the case for the wziard.
As for new wizard, I have to say it's an improvement but it still doesn't change the fact that a poor run of glyphs is actually pretty damn common, and most of the time you'll only be using 1-2 glyphs for the boss battle anyways. The ability to carry more glyphs matters little if you don't find any useful glyphs to begin with, which is a bigger issue than carrying capacity.
