Hilarious! That dungeon is waaaay to easy! Any hard dungeon with a faithless purist fighter should need considerable luck.

That's about how many medals you can get on Hobbler's Hold, and I'm guessing you could have gotten miser too...

My personal record on Hobbler's Hold is:

Purist
Miser
Unstoppable
Faithless
Feeling Parched
Cheeky
Warmonger
Specialist
Hoarder

Let's be clear here: I don't think that's possible on any other level.

That said, I'm leaning towards downgrading Rock Garden to "normal" classification currently. I actually disagree that the new Western Jungle is harder. Because Getandafix only spawns mana burners, it's easy to clear all his plants when you're about to do a mid-battle level-up. The big difficulty with druid grove was always having this guy pin you (or himself) behind a bunch of nasty plants. Now that it's one type of plant, the worst-case scenario is that this is a boss that only occasionally mana burns you.

Yes, but he has better stats than the golem or bandit anyways. The reason it's mana burn only is because this is supposed to be a "fighter" course.

Back when Western Jungle had the Golem and Bandit, it was by far the easiest normal-difficulty level on the board. Yes, it's harder, but it needed it. A beginner need only bring a Berserker and Getandafix will fall without much of a fight, with or without the aid of Taurog.

Pretty much... When the boss is guaranteed to do magic damage 50% resists is too high. Since the class is good anyways, giving 30% might be more realistic.

I think Berserkers with 25% mag resist and either only +1 MP cost to spells, or no increased cost but -5 max MP, would actually be a good idea across the board. Less overpowered in their specialty, more viable outside of it.

That would make the Elf Berserker a fairly formidable combination... might be worth trying.

Finally an alternative to berserking orcs! That sounds really nice actually...
