I like the idea gorgon! It sounds like it would work very well!
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

What we are saying is that the way resistances stack it becomes too powerful. A little resistance when you have none helps a little. A lot of resistance when you have a lot, helps a lot.

Now the other direction to take is to simply make more things more powerful, so give various strategies a go, with even brutally more difficult dungeons.

Remember much of the difficulty of a dungeon is figuring out the stragety that works. We figured out the strategy of how to defeat Gann-Telet, without using the transmuter mechanics... after 2 weeks.

Gaan-Teley only took that long because it was overhyped. Waaaaaay overhyped.

Oops, ended up doing a double post.

To make it useful, I did manage to beat the Crypt as a Halfling Priest with Purist, and only buying a Fine Sword.

Reason Gaan-Telet took so long is because the dungeon actually does take a long time to complete. With the scumming to find the necessary items and glyphs, that's a relatively big commitment of time just for a single attempt. I know I just haven't bothered to play Gaan-Telet.

That's actually very true... I made it to Horratio but lost. There goes 2 hours...
