"Positioning" Puzzle in Starter Pack Broken?

Hello, first time poster here. I think your game is pretty cool thanks for making it so cheap.

Anyway, I'm fairly certain that the puzzle Positioning in the Starter pack has been rendered unsolvable by some recent change. I attempted it myself about a dozen times then looked it up online and found that I was already using the most optimal strategy. That strategy was as follows:

(sorry total spoiler fail here, used
text
and gave up when that didn't work)
1. Push goat down.
2. Kill goat with melee.
3. Switch places with zombie.
4. Convert WEYTWUT into a potion, drink potion and take attack power-up.
5. Push goat to the left.
6. Grab potions and drink two.
7. Go back to damaged goat and push it left to kill it.
8. Use PISORF three times on the middle goat to kill it.
9. Push left goblin.
10. Kill goblin.
11. Push right goblin.
12. Kill right goblin.

However I noticed that every time I tried this, I was 1 mana short of being able to do the last push. Of course, that inevitably results in the character's death and starting over the puzzle.

Am I actually just doing something wrong, or is this a new problem that just hasn't been pointed out to the devs yet? If the second one, hopefully they will see this and fix it soon...

Hey,

I've just purchased the game (probably around the time you made the post) and didn't have troubles there.
Just replayed it, spoiler seems fine except for "8." only needs 2 casts.

Yep, there's a mistake in there. You shouldn't be using PISORF three times on the middle goat.

Try pushing him diagonally :)

Wow. Here I thought I had looked into it enough to not make me look stupid the first time I posted on this forum. But I always forget about those tricky diagonals.

Thanks a bunch... better luck next time I guess hehe

I just completed it yesterday, so It's still doable. They made you a gnome wizard so that converting still gets you mana now. (clever fix devs ;) )

Hi, it seems that this puzzle has been changed since last time the fine people in this thread talked about it. It now looks like this:

Image

I have tried some two dozen times, but I can't seem to finish it. I can get the enemies down to 1 goat (and the boss) and killing that last goat would get me to level 2, but I am always short on HP by that time, so the last goat always defeats me.

Any hints would be much appreciated :-)

I've also been having problems with this puzzle. One thing I noticed is that when it tells me to convert WEYTWUT for an attack bonus, my attack doesn't go up. Is this a bug?

Also, is there a walkthrough/solution for this anywhere in case I just give up on hitting my head against it without getting anywhere?
