Thanks Sidestepper(and other people doing this) for your playthroughs.
I finished the Alpha without too much trouble and I can easily beat any normal dungeon but I couldn't finish a hard one.
I realized that I played this game the "wrong way" until now, always killing "popcorn" monster I see.
I'll try to learn and play more and more like you do because my old way of playing wasted so much resources.
I didn't read all your playthroughs at the time I write this but I definitely will :)

Do you take requests?

Well, If you do, Id really appreciate an annotated run of VHoS. The Vampire is the last thing I have yet to unlock. =P

Whoops! Ever since this got stickied, I stopped noticing it. Ironic, I know.

I just 'recorded' a VHoS session with a Sorceror and will write it up either today or tomorrow.

EDIT: Finished!

An impressive show! :D

I like the active mistake recovery. Always a vital skill at any level of play :P

Drac is a better endgame convert. If you can get 50 piety and 10 bloodpools you get 10% sanguine and 2 piety per bloodpool. With you obscene health that would have been awesome, not even including the Bloodswells.

Nice AA level catapulting. That was incredibly skillful.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

What tilted the scales towards TT for me was the discovery of a Keg of Health in one of the shops. Dracul offers more than TT in an endgame with little popcorn left over, but Tikki Tooki takes less away. Dracul would be worth maybe 3 health refills, whereas TT let me use 2 healthpools worth of potions and gave me two free hits. Probably came out about the same, but I guess Dracul would have let me snag the parched badge.

I disagree. You usually end up with some extra piety that you can't use except taking the punishment of quaffing stuff usually enough for 3 potions. Also, there's usually at least one desecratable altar for indulgences.

Aye, but neither TT nor GG are usually good desecration targets :P

True, but I was giving more of a general tip there.
