Gateway mission that must be beaten to access one of the game's capstone dungeons? Check.
Borderline vicious difficulty on a level labelled "hard"? Check.
Annoying monsters with debilitating permanent debuffs? Check.
Map-based gimmick that vastly increases the already variable luck-factor in dungeon layout? Check.
Boss with a ridiculous special that requires foreknowledge and extensive planning to even have a hope of winning? Check. Times two.

Yeeaaaahh... that mission was just an exercise in masochism.

So, so true.

Can anyone put up a general strategy that works for all classes in Naga City? I'm gonna go for a 100% completion, cause I already got all the medals.

Does sticking a Dragonshield on an Orc rogue count?

As long as you can deal with Thomithy, going resists + altar shennanigans probably works. Got me the fighter win there, so it should probably work, since any level where you have acess to all the altars under current desecration/conversin rules is sort of inherently easy with a good worship sequence. You might need TT potions, and Agnostic collar though.

What about poison? I assume I should get it...

Well, probably, if you can afford it. I'm not sure about the ultimate cheezy combination of boons currently available, so I can't say what to shoot for. Back when I was paying attention it used to be taking poison, dodge and potions, possibly without poison if piety was scarce. Dodge is kinda great with resistances anyway, and potions really help with tomithy (among other things).

1) If you find Binlor take 10 stone hearts, and get 100 more piety to convert. If he's not their skip this step
2) JJ: Get one boost health, chaos avatar, and 100 piety.
3) Proceed to the arena
4) Kill a boss and convert the trophy for 350 gold, switch to TT.
5) Take all wanted boons.
6) Once you use all your health potions get back up to 100 piety and convert to Dracul.
7) Use blood tithe to get free stuff of the blood pools, and use the rest of your piety for blood swells.

I recently had a -second- completion of Naga City with the Gorgon. I'll try do Dragon Isles next, and actually take pictures this time. (The whole reason I went down is that >.>)

Didn't they "fix" transmutation scroll to not work on boss trophies anymore?

'Cuz if they didin't, a halfling tinker might be able to go all sorts of nuts in Naga City.
