Wow, this looks like a great update. Adding built in burning to Fireball is an amazing change.

I'm a little curious to see how much the Dwarf change hurts Rogues though.

To someone who has a chance to test this, what does the new Fireheart do and is Trisword still +3 per potion? Oh, and how does the new Transmuter work?

Fireheart now works like crystal ball, only it restores 5% health per charge instead of mana.
Trisword is +1 damage per potion.
Transmuters have poor stats (-50% damage, -2 health and -3 mana as of first level), and use regular ENDISWAL, but get a stacking +10% conversion bonus (Max 100%) every time they ENDISWAL (resetting on conversion).
Dwarves get 2 damage reduction per 90 conversion.

12 damage reduction at 540 conversion doesn't feel great. Though there have been few opportunities to play with lots of DR stacking so there could be some fun to be had.

Did I miss it from some past update, or is the gold cap also a new feature?

Oh, and I'm really excited to try out the new Fireball with a Gorgon. I had come to the conclusion that Fireheart was one of her better preps (the best if you find Pactmaker), but was generally getting stuck with Dragon Shield. Now I get both!

Dwarf + resistance classes + Dragon Shield?

In any case, seems the reduction would only be really good at low levels, so unless you can find and burn a glyph or two right away and use that to kill some higher-level enemies it may not be worth it.

In any case, the update as a whole looks pretty exciting!

edit: Does Wharrgarbl still have the potion effect? Cause if not, it's a misnomer now :)

Earthmother Dwarf Monk at Halls of steel :D

I beat Namtar's lair with an Earthmother Halfling Priest, and I think it would be even easier with a Dwarf... Just stack damage reduction.
