I'm pretty sure elite now makes every shop have an elite item too! How's that for bad?

But yeah, shop scroll is a rather lacking prep now...
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

I can't count all the times I've thought that Holy Diver would be quite a nice exploration saving prep if it spawned the actual altar right next to your starting location. It would save exploration AND let you get boons right away, for deities that require taking their boons for piety gain.

If it spawned an EXTRA altar next to your starting location and make you insta worship, even better if not OP, and deffinitely OP with an Agnostic Collar prep (and having too many altars lets people stack way too much DR way too easily, so that has to be taken into consideration).

But that would encourage scumming! And that's what preps are supposed to stop...

True, but how exactly DO you stop God scumming?

I mean, after they made a big move to discourage altar scumming shannenigans with the unlocked/appearing correlation introduced in the last patch, it took us guys about 12 seconds to start a thread about number crunching the optimal way to scum for gods in the new system.

I literally facepalmed when I saw the thread about "new strategy for strategic unlocks" as It was clear they didn't want us to keep doing it. And I was the guy who blew it out of sane limits in the first place :D

I mean, to keep going at it must've looked dumb from the point of view of the devs who wanted us to pisorff from jacking with the RNG to get optimal gods, but actually WAS pretty smart from the point of view of us degenerate hardcore vets who know how much of a difference an optimal god setup is.

And I did make a thread about letting us test gods in a more sensible manner.

Yeah...

I think letting you choose 1 or 2 of yout gods wouldn't be too bad...

It just makes multiple profiles all the more essential. Speaking of which, it would be kind of nice to have the ability to copy existing profiles, even for non-min-maxing reasons.

Well, right now all our saves are on the cloud, but in the final version of the game we will have an offline save mode so one way or another we will be able to copy profiles.
