Wiki Needs Clean Up

I don't know if it's feasible or not, but maybe transferring the wiki to a wikia.com website is a possibility.
I mean, I can't find any articles relating how the wikia website handles spam and spambots. It's like wikipedia. If you search how wikipedia handles spam, you find results as "Wikipedia - What is spam?"; not exactly what I wanted to search.

Anyways, I think they could deal with it easily as they're a specialized wiki website. Don't know for sure though.


On further looking, I already find a Wikia of desktopdungeons (desktopdungeons.wikia.com), though it only has one page as of yet, with only one word in it.

Maybe transferring all qcfdesign wiki content to there couldn't be a bad idea?

I asked dislekcia to add some spam-protection extensons to the wiki a while ago, but he was too busy. I'm not going to do another cleaning round until someone does that.

As a stop-gap measure while they're busy, page creation and file upload should perhaps be disabled for non-admins. It seems most of the legitimate page creation and file uploading is only done by the current admins anyways, and this would deal with the majority of the spam.
