What does the Crystal ball do? I've reread the description lots of times and I cant wrap my head around it.

What does the Battle mage ring do? I have not unlocked it yet, and I cant find anything about it on the wiki.

At one point in naga city, I saw three bosses. Is it worth even trying?

Crystal Ball stores 1MP every time you cast a spell which costs at least 3MP. You can then use the ball to restore your own MP - you get as many MP as the ball contains (up to your maximum limit) and the ball is reset back to 0MP.

Battlemage ring increases fireball damage by 1 per character level.

... All without being allowed to access any resources left on the top level.

That's really only a huge issue if you have the sanguine ability.

Thanks Darvin. If its ok, I'd like you to post a video of yourself beating it just to get a sense of what the overall level is like.

I've never really had good results from any video capture software I've tried in the past. Anyone got some suggestions?

I dunno, but we usually type these things up on the forums. A full step by step guide of how we did it.

@Drew: Unfortunately I doubt it would be much use to you as it was with a Half-Dragon, a class which there is a 90% chance you don't have. If you do, post and I'll give you my run through.

Logging what happens in the run is the easy part, creating a mode to actually do these "replays" is the tricky part.
