"Tavern" vs. "Go Adventuring" vs. "Dungeon"

What's the difference between clicking the Tavern and clicking the "Go Adventuring" button? They both seem to do exactly the same thing. Clicking the "Dungeon" button in the top right does almost the same thing as well, except that when "Auto Advance" is on, that turns it off.

It used to be different, but it was changed last friday. Maybe the devs will remove the "GO ADVENTURING" button.

The Kingdom screen is still due for a complete overhaul, so it'll probably get cleaned up in the next few updates.
