There are not a ton of classes with spellcasting restrictions, and those are either less mana or higher spell cost...

What if there were a monster class with a different casting system. Maybe a monster that uses spell gems, that you produce when you level up or convert items. They would either fill your inventory (small, non-stacking or low-stack-capacity items) or a fixed number of slots that are in the place of your mana bar. To cast a spell, you use up one spell gem.

-35% RESISTS! I'm going to cry now. Although some sort of Demon class would be nice. Just for my amusement I'm going to create a monster class for every Final Boss (excluding Horratio), for getting 100% on their Vicious dungeons. They will be broken and are for my amusement. And +2 mana sounds good.

I suppose you could make a spell gem class. But what monster?

For example:

The Avatar
Godly Armor: 50% resist all
Godly Blade: +50% damage, 10% resist reduction
Godly Powers: +2 hp per level, +3 max mp
300 CP for a full restore.

We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Oh. I thought it was starting, my bad.

Acting on the spell gems:
Namtar
Undying God: Instead of dying you level down reducing stats, but not restoring hp and mp. You die at level 0.
Decaying Body: 8 hp per level, -2 max mp.
Ancient Magic: Start with spell gems for the 4 advanced glyphs and 1 random one. Spell gems are 1 off spell effects that cost no mana and cannot be resisted. They are not subjected to any modifiers. (Such as extra fireball damage)
50 CP for 1 random spell gem.

And yes you have normal glyph spawns and you can be mana burned etc.

Here's the third!

Kinisssch
Infernal Poison: Start with poisonous and corrosive strike.
Naga Pride: You may not attack monsters 3+ levels below you
Royal Support: You start with 3 extra potions, 25 gold, a fine sword, and a fine shield (-4 DR)
50 CP to increase your corrosion per hit by 1

And the fourth!

The Matron Of Flame:
Draconic Fortitude: +5 hp per level
Draconic Breath: Magic Attack, 100% resist reduction, Mana Burn
Draconic Guards: Start with Dragon Horn. Use 3 times to call in a dragon elite. He takes all the damage for the shot and poisons the monster.

Djinn
-Fireproof: Retaliates magic attacks
-Shield Breaker: Starts with 10% lower resists
-Illusionist: magical attack, fireball deals physical damage
**60 CP = 1% lower resists

The Djinn boss was removed some updates ago and I can't remember his name :?
