All you'd need is about 88-90 base. That's really not THAT hard with a Tri-Sword.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

I've already done over 250 damage Orc Crusader... as a level 2.

Avatar's Symbol, maxed momentum, attack booster +50%, pretty everything I can get my hands on converted, and four strength potions. Next time I hope to find a Trisword as well.

1-hitted Grimm's Grotto Bleaty with that approach. Have a taste of your own medicine, you damn goat...

Nice. You may have actually discovered a way to make the Crusader useful...

If you can kill one of the bosses at level 2 or 3, you'll have a bunch of enemies left over to use on the other boss.

Problem is that I converted all my glyphs, and spent all my money on strength potions which I chugged in succession while using up all of my exploration space. The sheer number of resources necessary to pull this off is so impractical that you're better off playing conventionally. As well, it only works on low-HP bosses that are vulnerable to such a 1-hit-wonder. Oh, and the preparation spending is positively excessive on top of all of that. It's a novelty approach.

Mmmmm.... add the Trisword and some Tikki Tooki worship to the mix. Wonder just how high we can go...

Let's presume we take it to level 7 (35 base attack)
720 conversion points (+21 from orc)
Trisword (let's say you quaff 18 potions for a total of +36)

That brings your base attack to 91. Now for attack boosts

boosters (+30%)
hp->attack (+20%)
avatar's symbol (+100%)
momentum (+100%)

So that's about 320 damage for your 1-hit wonder, and this is with a reasonable amount of scumming. Hitting 400 should be entirely doable.

As for reflex potion, we really need more research on how it works. Would the avatar's symbol, momentum, or strength potions count on the second hit? I don't think so, but if there's one quirk about this game it's that rules aren't always consistent...

3 potions is +45? Did they change the tri-sword back to +3 base per quaff.
