I was looking around the forums, and it occurs to me that of those who have DD-related avatars, the vast majority are elves. I took a quick census (apologies if I missed anyone) and came out with this:

The devs are diverse enough, but out of the players "The Avatar" is the only one with a non-elf avatar (yeah, this won't get confusing <_<). However, we do have a very nice assortment of classes. Guess the elves are just the most popular race by a landslide.

I were actually gonna pick a goblin paladin, but that doesn't have anything to do with gameplay. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Given how common elves are, I'm considering swapping to something else. My shortlist right now is Goblin Bloodmage, Orc Warlord, Orc Rogue, and Half-Dragon

That's pretty interesting. Just one of those random facts that people take for granted.

I'd go for Goblin Bloodmage or one of the orcs.

I only put an elf thief because it used to be my favorite strategy at the time... and human portraits are ugly
