Even with two elves down, about half of the player-base is still using elven portraits.

Actually, I never even played the elven warlord seriously, I just found the human avatars to be ugle and wanted a warrior.
I guess I'll stick to the vampire for now as I really enjoy playing that class.
In case you're wondering: obviously, I like the enemy portrait a lot better, looks more like a cool face to me.

This gave me reason to wonder about the female portraits; is there also going to be a male version of the gorgon / counterparts in the monsterclasses at all?
One could go as far as to wonder whether the humanoid monsters are going to be given a female counterpart as well (Goblin, Vampire, Naga, male gorgons)?

Got to agree on the Vampire point. His portraits ugly...

That could be an interesting idea, Male or Female enemy portraits, but you'd have to make some specific. We can't have the prince of the Naga Empire be a girl now, can we? Also, in addition to your list Zombies and Vamps are a maybe, but Dragons are a definite yes.

But yeah, that would be most amusing... Perhaps it gives you -30% until you level up?
