Posted: Fri Mar 23, 2012 6:24 pmHmmm, so the piercing wand was a bug and not an intended feature. Now it's downright underpowered and requires Mystic Balance to function correctly.
I'd say that the negative resists should have stayed, but monsters should "recover" from negative resistances as you explore. This could also open up some new ways to treat other resist-down effects, including those against the players (ie, a long-awaited bandit buff).
