Race challenges?

I love the addition of Class challenges and think you could do the same thing with races. I think that would be an awesome addition to the game! What are other peoples thoughts?

I strongly suspect that dislekcia reads a significant proportion of what's posted on these forums. Heck, they're admitting that they're reading the wiki articles to figure out what we're doing... I'm wondering if this was the inspiration for Warlord Gold...

Glad I could help. And yes, I'm the author of that annotated playthrough. Physical specialist on Rock Garden is one of my favourite scenarios.

Well, it only makes sense, we're trying to improve the game experience from outside the game, in a sense I see myself as a Deputy member of QCFdesign. And with my background in fighting games, it only gets sweeter.

Yeah, I suggested race challenges, because 1. the buildings are unused, and 2. right now you can't unlock viper ward or soul orb in a new profile.

We read everything.

In bursts.

Races will get challenges, maybe not 3 of them each, but the plan has always been to move the old "intro to race mechanics" easy dungeons into the race buildings. We'll get there ;)

On that subject, can the race buildings be upgraded? At least where I am in the game, it seems like the race buldings are either present or not, much like the taxidermist or tavern (how is the tavern different than the go adventuring screen, anyway?). They do not seem to be upgradable like the blacksmith. The race buildings should either be stripped of the levels, or something like race challenges should allow the buildings to level-up. It would be nice if these buildings could allow access to a/some race-specific item(s), too.
