If we are going to have challenges that both require scumming and don't allow for gold to be carried out, can we at least have the option to disable the bank preparation so that when we have to retry Thief Silver or Priest Gold 40 times to get a winnable map we're not out 1000 gold?

Some challenges do allow for preparations, so the bank prep can't be removed. They just need to not offer gold for badges the second time through, like all levels do (or alternatively, make badges award less gold and have all dungeons award gold whenever a badge is achieved)

Cheeky is almost entirely luck as to whether there are level 1's sitting in all the passages and you lack ENDISWAL or WEYTWUT to get past them. I'd say that badge should be replaced.

Warmonger, Hoarder

Hard
Purist, Miser

Medium
Feeling Parched, Faithless, Unstoppable

Easy
Ding! Max, Cheeky, Specialist

Precise difficulty may vary based on level and class. The easy ones may just happen as a matter of course depending on your level/class.

Hmm... Cheeky really is a bad idea for a badge. That is basically routine, assuming you don't get bad luck, and isn't a feat at all.

What would the new badge be? If they like the cheeky idea, how about making it based on how many higher level kills? Or they could just scrap it and make a completely new badge.

Kill a monster 4 or more levels higher than yourself? I routinely hit three, so four would like I rose a cut above that run.

Yeah, badges will have different amounts eventually - we're also planning to change up the badges a little more as well.

Right now the bank gold should come out with you if you haven't spent it, even though you "technically" aren't earning gold from the challenge dungeon - you're also not losing any. If you are, that's a bug... Unless you bought something in a shop, which is why we allowed the gold to come in with you in the first place as a general rule.
