I just used a goblin to reach level 5 and get his resists to 0 before throwing down a fortitude tonic and killing him.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Good. That should lower the difficulty quite nicely. The bosses were bad enough, but the leveling experience was awful.
