Postby thenazizombie1 on Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:32 am

When i play the browser version, it looks good but the dowloaded version i have for pc looks different and not good. They are both v0.21 so i dont know why they look different. I really want to play the browser version as a download. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you

The download version is the free-ware alpha, and the web-version is the full-version beta. A stand-alone version of the final program will be released when the beta is over.

Okay, judging from what you're saying, I can make a couple of guesses about your problem: you're talking about the rebuilt HTML5 version of the alpha compared to the original Game Maker alpha.

Does the download file have a horrific yellow avatar and sharp colours everywhere? That's the ANCIENT default DD tileset, and it usually shows up when your game can't read the external image files. Have you unzipped the file properly and checked the exe's file permissions?
