Hmmm... either my memory is getting really bad or I missed that. I seem to recall killing monsters, leveling up, and having a 12.5% boost. Personally, I've found him weaker overall from that change and would much rather have the hard 100% cap than lose my momentum on level-up. I haven't made any attempts to leverage potential curse-immunity (which, yes, is quite powerful) but I'd have to see him a one-trick pony whose only redeeming feature is just ignoring a potent debuff.

Perhaps, but he's good enough to beat all 4 Vicious ATM, so I don't think it is a problem.

I'm rather fond of the current (orc) crusader, FWIW. Great Warmonger... toss him Patches, an extra altar and a trisword, + strength, dodge and reflex potions, and he can often one or two-hit the bosses. GG (humility) > Taurog has been my favorite flavor. Been working on getting Warmonger everywhere so I don't get stupid perpetual questing quests asking me to do warmonger bloodmages.

(and I'd say the Vampire is currently the weakest what with the broken lifesteal).

Anyone played Naga City? I don't know when it's changed but you don't get access to any of the altars on the bottom floor anymore unless pay 20 gold each. So uh, don't bother bringing Agnostic Collar in, I guess.

You cannot get altars topside without prepping them.

Yeah, I know that, but on the bottom floor you gotta pay to use the altars there too.

Exactly. That's what made it harder. It was more a nerf to my strategy of getting red and poison aboveground (further Binlor abuse) and proceeding to kill everything below-ground with whatever class I needed to win with. Simple, yet BRUTALLY effective.

I've done a couple of runs with new crusader and he is pretty solid. Not managed a vicious yet, but got very close on DI.
