Speaking of which, aren't Gods in general too powerful right now? Faithless is becoming more and more unattractive....

Gods literally add abilities to adventurers on top of the "3 ability + racial CP" standard. They are the most powerfull thing in the game, and always were. Especially as there is no limit on the amount of boons you can take, abilities they provide, and the currency to purchase (piety) is provided for playing the game like you would most of the time and not taxed by anything but god quirks. And is transferrable between gods, so you can use what you earned off a piety farm (like binlor or EM which are ridiculous piety farms right now) and apply to gods who's only real limiting factor is stingyness.

I don't mind that piety game spread out over levels thing, but are we doing anything to make converting to Binlor as 2nd/3rd god conversion more attractive? Earthmother can at least use Plantation to max out her piety off the bat if you convert in to her but if a wall-breaking method doesn't generate then Binlor's altar just there to kick over if you run into him second.

Agreed. Stone Soup just isn't good enough to merit converting in.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

I have a suggestion for an alternative change to Binlor, to rein in his piety generation: Have him spawn PISORF on worship instead of ENDISWALL.

Since PISORF requires a monster to knock around, it'll prevent players from clearcutting the entire level. Plus, it (indirectly) gives us that PISORF prep we've been asking for :)
