Humble Indie Bundle

Postby zeemeerman2 on Mon Aug 01, 2011 7:50 pm

While it's a little late to do so now (since the current bundle is running now), is it possible to have Desktop Dungeons in a next Humble Indie Bundle, some time?

For the ones who don't know Humble Bundle:

(You still have 8 days to pay before the bundle closes)

New Humble Bundles release every half year or so, based on the previous dates.

It doesn't really matter if the game is not yet finished, since the previous bundle had a pre-order of a game with no playable content as of yet.

It might be a nice boost to promote Desktop Dungeons to a broader public. What do you think?

Once Unity supports Linux, we'd love to get into the Humble Indie Bundle. There was a lot of interesting chat at E3 :)

to my knowledge (i dont use linux my self but have heard from people who do) unity games can run on linux most of the time, though sometimes they cant..
Anyway, its the single most requested feature on the feedback.unity3d.com thingumyjig with more than 5 times the requests as the second most wanted feature, and i noticed a while back they were looking to hire a linux dev so its in the works just not officially =)

Have you tried using wine? I've even heard of people being able to run the unity3D editor on linux using wine

It might be a good idea. However, it would have been way too early to do it now ! Humble bundle probably works better with finished or at least well tested games. DD is just doing its first steps...
